I completely agree with you but I'm personally making myself crazy looking at every past game and thinking he (and others) should have done this, or done that. Bottom line goals will shut up all the critics.

i think torres will benefit from mata and sturridge greatly..so i won't judge him as yet the next few games should give us a glimpse of the torres we as chelsea supporters are longing for..

True. He should do a Malouda and keep whacking the ball until it goes in. Surely, even Torres' luck can't preclude him from a lucky defection every now and then.

Well the article gets my attention for having a quote of AVB where it says:

When i read that, it's not Torres that comes to my mind, but Lampard!

For me Torres has played far better then Lampard in the last 3 games...well with the exception of the last game, but yet Torres gets sub of, and Lampard manages to continue playing full 90 minutes...

That just sounds a bit hypocritical to me!

Exactly. Contrary to the popular believe that the media are out to get us.

Moreover, the pressure and the threat of losing his NT spot permanently should be motivate him to buckle up and start performing. . . .sulking, failing to score and feeling sorry for himself will only prolong the pressure and problem. It's time to step your game up Torres.

P.S. Perhaps he could get lucky and score some tap ins ala Inzaghi,chicharito, if he just stays inside the fucking opponents box. He needs goals badly now and his best chance of getting a goal will come only through staying more inside the box and not wandering around the pitch like headless chicken.

He is not the kind of guy who starts sulking etc. He congratulated Negredo for his performance after the Lichtenstein games, that doesnt make his current perfomance better, but that shows a great personality, respect!. I still belive he is a fantastic player
