Doesn't matter who it is, I hate him being here as much as the next guy, but he wasn't the one who decided he should be on that pitch for 80+mins, or even start last night. He was given the start by the man who knows he's woeful. That's who the boos should've been held for.

We have had better players booed for far less. He has had constant support for nearly 2 years. I remember being given dirty looks any time I vented my frustration at matches. 99.9% of match going fans have been nothing but supportive for the majority of his stay. Enough is enough. He is rubbish and doesn't deserve a place on the bench let alone start games.

Trust me I understand where you're coming from and this is a sorry situation but the fans have been very lenient with him. They have had a right to turn on him much sooner but have given him nothing but love and support for 2 years. That it has taken this long for him to be booed is an achievement and shows how good our match going supporters are. Some other clubs would have made his life a living hell. He has had it very easy for the last two years. He earns more in a week than most people will earn in 10 years and acts as if he is owed something.

Although i do agree with that as it could backfire for future signings especially.

The fans were supporting him for two bloody years, all the time! Even when Drogba scored or Lampard scored, Torres was the one with the loudest cheer from the stands. He had a support he didn't even deserve. Before the games, during the games, after the games. 2 years is just a bloody long time and the fans simply gave up, and righfully so. He does not deserve anything but this. He does not deserve to wear the blue shirt and I have to say, finally it is being shown and heard even at the Bridge. Enough is enough.

Chelsea fans will always support a player that gives 100% for the badge. If anyone here thinks he gives us that anymore, you're watching a different player to me. Just not fit to wear the shirt, end of.

It's always shocking when fans boo their own players but in this case it was about time, should have already happened ages ago if I'm being honest. To me it's okay to if someone is a shit player, but what is unacceptable if they don't even care. For example, Ivanovic had a shocker yesterday and everyone could see how heartbroken he was, as he had just let the team and the fans down. With Torres, it's like he really doesn't give a fuck and a player like that does not deserve any support from the fans.

Nobody can give us, the fans any criticism for booing Torres whatsoever. We have stuck by him from the very minute he walked into a Chelsea shirt. Through his ridiculous goal droughts and disresepctful statements made after winning the CL and now time is up. Enough is enough. He might be a nice fella and his career endig injuries might not be his fault but if boo's are the only way to send the message to our deluded board that, we don't Torres here anymore, then so be it!

I'm not going to boo him because I don't think it's his fault. I think his injuries have robbed him of whatever it was that made him special. To me he's like Tiger Woods, where circumstances and injuries just robbed him of that 'x' factor that made him so successful. That's lasted for two years now and he's lost all confidence in his abilities.

So I'm not going to boo him simply because I pity him more than anything. I've called him a cancer in the past because his presence is detrimental to the club, but that's not something he has much control over. We signed him, we've kept faith with him and unless someone comes in with an offer for him, we're lumped with him.

But I've always thought the booing of our own players is classless.

I've booed the likes of Saunders and Hunt because they were cunts. Torres isn't - he's just not very good.

Torres doesn't even put in an effort any more, he was just as bad as he is last season but back then you could see he really cared and wanted to pick up his form and the fans supported. Now he just doesn't care anymore because no matter how bad he plays he's going to be the first name on the team sheet. That is sickening, I think he's still young and should probably look to further his career outside Stamford bridge, maybe we should sell be back to Liverpool at a cut price, he's still adored there, and he can leave with the fat Messiah, the two still seam to have their hearts still set on Liverpool.

Whereas Mikel never was a striker, its true we should rather have kept faith with studge than with Torres. But he at least made us realize how brillant Kalou compared to him. He worked as hard as anyone and had a habit of scoring important goals. I'm sure with him instead of Torres we would still be in the title hunt and won the CWC. He surely would have caused frustration and some terrible misses, but one thing you could tell about him is that he would always make up for this with his effort and every once in a while score in a way only he could - you never could be sure if it was brillance or utter luck - boy, Torres even makes one feel nostalgic over Kalou...
