Jase 43,479
Good performance yesterday but still do not want to see him playing in the PL!And if there's one bad thing about the performance, it's that Rupert will come and worship like he's the mother of all strikers! Hutcho 8,443
The problem now is Rafa will probably start torres at the weekend, and we will all see the return of el nino as oppossed to el zorro.
Milan 17,957
I doubt it. After the Sunderland game we have Kazan again so I don't think he would play 3 games in a row whereas Ba, who scored the cracker, would sit the league game.
ZanSnake 1,211
Ba to start then Nando, then Nando start for Rubin is what i think he would do. Marvin123
RedWhite&BLUE 37
This picture was retweeted by Chelsea In America yesterday. There's no doubt those players are better than him though, as their goals per appearance rate is way higher.
English Freak 456
Can't complain about him after the performance yesterday. The two goals weren't even the most pleasing thing - his hold-up and link-up play was as good as Drogba's ever was. Yes, it wasn't exactly Bayern Munich we were playing, but Rubin are clearly a decent side (you have to be to knock out Atletico Madrid, don't you?) and that performance was as close to £50 million as we're going to see from this lad, I feel. Yeh, Rubin Kazan are a decent side...but they are not a top-class side. Torres' performance yesterday just proves that Europa league opposition is his level now. He's useless in the premier league but good enough to thrive against decent teams in the Europa League.Still needs to leave at the end of the season. BleedsBlue 1,549
Played really well yesterday. It wasn't just the goals but his all round performance that really impressed me.
BlueLyon 9,359
Torres is single-handedly taking us to Europa League glory. That finish vs Steaua - what composure! and the 2 goals last night. Best striker in the Europa League. 50 million well spent Well we all know that Falcao was king of EL scorers, and people were putting him soooo high for scoring all those goals. We can see that Torres can score there too so he is equaly good to Falcao

Heisenberg 1,824
I dont understand why people want him to stay next season, its ok to support him, even if he is shit, but two goals wont change much, he isnt Chelsea level, simple, when he'll leave he will also leave with his big wage, so some one else will take his place. ja1 1,166
All these people saying Torres has in actual fact had a good season because he's scored 19 goals are starting to annoy me, mostly on Twitter, and how he's scored more goals than a list of strikers who've played 15-20 less games than him or are 3rd/4th choice for their clubs. 4 in his last 22, 7 in 29 PL appearances, 19 goals in 52/53 appearances, not the stats of a striker who's had a good season. Sorry, not saying anything you guys don't already know, but it gets on my teats. Jase, TorontoChelsea, Peace. and 1 other
ja1 1,166
And TBF to him that was his best game in ages last night. Though he's starting to milk the whole I'm-confident-and-I'll-show-everyone-that-by-doing-a-rabona.
ja1 1,166
Haha just read back, seems like people have got the same gripes as the ones mentioned above anyway. Great minds.

mediator 2,026
He's got until the end of the season the prove he is still a good striker to find a new team. But in what concerns Chelsea, it's way too late Heisenberg

Sorry, not saying anything you guys don't already know, but it gets on my teats. Not only that, but Torres has more goals against Championship sides than he does against top-15 Premier League teams. His goals this season have been scored against: Rubin, Bucharest, Boro, Brentford, Villa, Leeds, Monterrey, Sunderland, Nordjsaelland, Shakhtar, Norwich, Arsenal, Wolves, Newcastle, and Reading. It's not just quantity.
robsblubot 3,595
Many here are missing a very important point: unless Torres improves drastically, he is unsellable!Unless you consider receiving no money and having to pay over 50% of his ridiculous wages a "sale."
