I don't think that's fair. I think it was mostly due to an injury. His idiot manager at Liverpool overplayed him and rushed him back when he was clearly hurt and he's never recovered. Instead of fucking working on other areas to improve his ability, he slugs around and makes fucking claims stating he didn't care whether we won or lost. Before the Steaua game I'd never seen a footballer look so weak, so poor and so unhappy, he looked wretched in that game. Sure, he scored a goal and he was trying to score more, but deep down he was dying, and the missed penalty confirms it. He had this facial expression during the second half, especially after he started to bleed, that really made me feel sorry for him.
