Corner 456
What i meant was the fans, this is the first time something like this has happened apart from 'we want our chelsea back' aimed @ Avram Grant @ Barnsley a few years back.Roman has never lost the fans this bad, i know quite a number of people not renewing their season tickets next season - yeah they will get snapped up im sure but still...Sure, the decision to appoint Benitez as interim manager has been a massively unpopular one.But it seems to me that 99% of us still appreciate everything Roman has done for the club and as long as we still appreciate that, he'll never lose our backing (as long as the word 'interim' stays in Rafa's job title). We all know Roman has his heart set on bigger things (Guardiola).
DH1988 1,350
Agreed I'm not questioning what he's done and what he will do etc what I am saying though is there is confusion on what is meant by that chant, not from me, but reports suggest higher up are not certain what the fans mean by it, I.e. rafa out, roman sell up and go, the board to go, etc. Just what I've heard on the radio past few days

EBH 283
Basically I wouldn't want to piss off the bloke that we owe a lot of money to and cares about this club and taking it forward (clearly) causing him to either lose interest or up and 'sell' etc.Who cares if we owned by Roman Abramovich or not? Perhaps we get our club back.

Tomo 21,751
Who cares if we're owned by Roman Abramovich or not? One man's (stolen) billions are much the same as another's. He can't just walk away, he will sell to someone, and that person will be quite well off.and how do we know the next guy will be as committed and dedicated? for all we know he could be a new version of Hicks or Gillett, then fans will have ture cause to moan at the owners. The only place to be 11,313
Perhaps we'll get our club back. What does this actually mean? Maybe we'll go back to the good old days of the late-90s when we'd never ever sack a Chelsea legend who became manager.
-Kaplan- 410
We don't have to be sheep. We can protest. We don't have to conform just because that is what fans do. Fans can have an opinion & if we want to say shit doesn't smell like roses, then it's our right. We pay for the salary. We pay for the stadium. Like it or not, the Fans have a say & they don't have to agree w/ the Board. Brother you need to get some Rage in your Soul & shout out that you won't take shit no more!@! Listen to some RATMhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC2K74tu-RUTrust me, I know rage. The thing is, you can yell and shout( as it is our right as fans) but, I've come to the realization that Abramovich doesn't listen to us. He does what he wants. I just put all of the bullshit drama aside and watch the team in blue. For the sport, competition and enjoyment I've always had watching them. robdog 2,084
agree to disagree about being silent & accepting what is given to the fans. In the end, it's me that has to pay the cost of an airplane ticket, hyped up exchange rates & then get hustle for a ticket. Or overpay for a kit. If I choose not to back the decision of rafa's appointment, then so be it. I will be a bitter blue hater until telly tubby leaves. Funny, no one wants to talk about how the German footie fans are coming together to fight their football association. I guess we live a posh life like rafa says

Also an all around attacker (Jovetic, J. Rodriguez) would be great.** I am already counting Cole, Lampard, Sturridge and Torres out. 5354 204
Cole, Lampard, Sturridge and Torres are in the team, how can we count them as out for this season?IMO Ivanovic can be the 'X' for the CB role. Don't forget we got Paulo for RB even though he is not that good. Probably Todd Kane can come in?Romeu can play a make-shift CB role. If worst come to worst, Bruma will be back next season.LB can be covered by Luiz.DM role -> we can recall essienthe point is, i dont feel the need to sign any more additional players if not it will restrict players to come through to the first team.whats worst, we got plenty of players out on loan and honestly we should exercise some of the options to recall them back. joshmercury 20
He has a point mikel ramires, luiz, hazard torres, mata and oscar have been playing 2 matches a week since september with a occasional rest here and there.Naturally we have looked tired in passing and movement, hence lack of goals.Another thing personally i dont like mata oscar hazard playing together, all 3 of them are effective only in the centre. Our attack becomes very imbalanced when all three start. RB went for bertrand as an option but he was never more than a solid lb. One of marin or moses should start winnable games in my opinion. It is a myth that torres is the only problem right now, it is not as if when we sign falcao we are going to play beautiful football and score loads of goals. We have no tempo to our game it is what sets winning teams apart, I guess we need to be patient and wait till next season. Mufassir08 2,400
I agree with rafa for once. Our squad is very thin at the moment and i cant see his rotation policy working with our squad.Hopefully in january we sign some quality players. Also an all around attacker (Jovetic, J. Rodriguez) would be great.** I am already counting Cole, Lampard, Sturridge and Torres out. Then we need to move Luiz to DM and promote some players (Courtois, Chabolah and KDB).I've made a few changes - promoted a few youngsters like Ake and Feruz, moved Chalobah to DM where he's been playing at Watford etc.Courtois will get another loan next season in all likelihood. The key positions for me are LB, DM and ST. If Bertrand kicks on then it can be a young back-up, if not it's going to need to be someone more established but Bertrand needs to be given a chance first. We need a DM who dominates the ball. I don't know if that's ever going to be Mikel or Romeu and Chalobah is still young. Maybe we could get by with those players and Chalobah needs a chance, but we need to sort that position. Ake has played further forward recently. As for David Luiz in DM, I really don't understand the logic behind people's suggestion of this. The one thing he lacks in his game is intelligence and discipline. The one thing that position absolutely requires is discipline. If we could get £20 million+ selling him in the summer, I'd take it.And then there's striker. Lukaku seems to really be finding his feet in the Prem so he's going to be at least a good back-up/Plan B. Then there's young Feruz who deserves a go in my opinion. I'd be including him right now in fact. But we'll probably need a main guy and that seems likely to be Falcao. I have reservations about signing another 26 year old striker whose game is all about goals. We've never really been a good club for that type of striker with players like Drogba and Stein the exception rather than the rule. I'd prefer someone like Cavani who has much more to his game in my opinion, or someone cheaper who is more of a gamble.
Changingman_2000 876
Shame that Ashley and Lamps seem to have been discarded. Both, I think still have so much to offer the club. Ashley was MoM against Bayern, yet six months later is deemed surplus?, really? Lamps too, he's always been super fit. I always reckoned he would go onto 35/36. The club has, not for the first time, got things arse about tit. The people running "OUR" club are now starting to wind me up.They'd better not bin that physio bird or I'll spit my dummy out
