The simple fact is that if we had won games against 4 teams in the bottom half of the table (Fulham, West Ham, QPR, Southampton) then we would be ONE point off the top spot.

If we had just held on to half-time leads in two games (Southampton, West Ham) then we would be EIGHT points clear of Spurs.

Sunday May 19th, 17:45.

Can't come soon enough.

I thought you were a Torres supporter, not a Chelsea supporter.

Maybe Rafa will sign him at his new club, although I doubt he's that stupid. Plus having seen Torres's goal against Brentford I reckon he could do some real damage in League Two....maybe even League One.

Well people even takes me as batman lol , but yes I'm a chelsea supporter .

Under DiM Chelsea key players were overused. Therefore, a very tired team inherited by Rafa.

Are you being serious? You're actually using "they were tired when Rafa came" as an excuse for him?As opposed to now? Lampard and Ramires play 90 minutes every game, even in the cups. Mata and Hazard are over-used. RDM and Rafa actually have very similar rotations with the only real difference being Moses versus Oscar.

So Roman has told him do finish in the top 4. If that is the objective, then why the fuck did he sack Robbie ?

The rumor is that RDM told Gorlay that he wasn't going to start torrid in Turin vs Juve. RDM was told that if he did this, then his job would be on the line. The rest is history. Another version of the story was that RDM told Gorlay to fuck off ala Ray Wilkins style. RDM achieved the same results as Butch Wilkins.

Honestly the gains from team unity I think would be greater than the benefits of having rafa. Even if it is someone with minimal experience but has the backing of fans and the respect of the players. Rafa may be a good tactician as some people say, but a club legend like RDM would be far more beneficial than someone who isn't liked by the fans and maybe not respected by the players.

1 goal against reading will not expiate all his bad games...

Obviously, i meant for this game to try and help us get 3 points. He is never gonna be able to shake off all his bad games. there arn't enough games in the world

RDM loses to the best Juventus side in years after dominating teams earlier in the season (such as Reading, eh.)

FSW drops points to, well, almost every side you can think of.

RDM is an ex blue. Actually no, he's a blue full-stop.

FSW is red through-and-through.

RDM played the attacking football Roman wanted.

FSW is making our attacking players too defensive and leaving our best attacker on the bench. Baffling.

RDM showed joy when we scored, smiled when we won, frustration when we lost.

FSW is an emotionless pig regardless. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see him jump for joy when we face Liverpool if they score against us.

RDM won us the greatest trophy you can win as a sportsman (in my opinion anyway) and set the pace for the league the following season.

FSW lost us the CWC, looks to have lost us the Capital One cup, keeps dropping points in the league and turned us into a joke - we can no longer sing "Champions Of Europe, We Know What We Are."

Sad.

Enough is enough, not watching Chelsea games till Rafa's gone. Can't be arsed with the crap gameplay, riding our luck and screwing it up with 3 mins of normal time to go. I hoped Benitez would back my support but seemingly not. Moyes would be the perfect sub. In Serie A Juve, Milan, Inter all use "lower" positioned league's managers and they're doing fine. Conte's Juve is a dominant force. Moyes deserves this but next manager HAS to have full support of the board plus time and finances. No more stop gaps.
