I said its not only the strike role to score.Of course the striker is not alone in terms of scoring goals, but seriously... Take a look at our team, and tell me that Torres is the only one working for goals. We have like 15 different goal scorers this season. No, Torres is not alone. But we simply CAN'T rely on a defender or midfielder saving our asses every god damn game, when it is in fact the striker that is supposed to be doing just that! I said its not only the strike role to score.No idea what you are on about now?You said not only the strikers responsibility to score !I'm pointing out it IS the strikers responsibility, thats why he is Played AND Paid so much!Look at my examples of Strikers winning matches and then look at our Striker!Yes it's nice for other players to score as well but our striker couldn't score in a whorehouse!!! Anyone expecting us to win the league is quite naive.I'm not expecting, but I think we have to keep up with the Mancs as long as we can. I don't even know, Cesar or Hazard perhaps. Dave was sound defensively and Hazard looked like the most likely threat when going forward. Ivanovic would deserve a mention if he hadn't been so wasteful in possession a couple of times. But no one stood out enough for me to give a proper vote.Our performance wasn't that bad, we gave no proper look at goal to them. Our Achilles' heel is our chance conversion, it's nowhere near good enough. If we finished the chances we created, we would be hailing our team. Sadly, that's not the case. If we get to march and we are right there then great but these are games we should be winning.We are 3 points behind top, if people considered us in the title race before the match then surely we are still in the title race.If we can get to christmas being close to top then bring in any striker who is a proven finisher, then we have a chance. If you had offered me 3rd 3 points off top at the start of the season after the pre-season we had i would have taken it... It is just the manor of how it happenned and Torres' seemingly untouchable nature. What do we have to lose trying someone else. Put moses up there or something. He can't exactly lose us anything in attack. Its also the fact we wait for them to equalize then decide we should change something. We could all see 50 mins in that torres needed to come off and we needed someone like moses to test them with pace but we wait til they score.I'm not putting everyone in the same category...I was also encouraged by our run of performances up till that Man Utd game, where I thought RDM, by luck or better judgement, had actually put together a title-winning side...Whilst I still won't write off our side as contenders, the last few performances haven't been very encouraging, and this result (annoying no doubt) typified that...this has a lot to do with the lack of goal threat from our strikers, and shows how woeful our depth is in that department...
