CHOULO19 24,332
Romeu said Mata didn't hear it. Actually Romeu didn't say that Mata didn't hear anything. If you read the exact quotes, he said that Mata didn't tell him that he heard anything, does not mean he did not hear.
chelseathebest 150
And this is what we were all waiting for, the moment this turns against us: Apparently someone from our team told the ref: "I'll break your fu**ing legs". Now to just sit around, wait for Cuntenburg to be cleared and our player receive a ban..http://www.101greatg...reak-your-legs/Agreed.I imagine this would hit us back like a boomerang...Whoever said that will get a hell of a fine, probably even get suspended for a number of matches.I just can't see the FA charging Clattenburg, that would be pretty shocking for the world of football (even if he said something like that). It's also hard to believe our players would make up something like that (especially Ramires and David Luiz), I mean those are some serious accusations, and if proven false, it would be a chatastrophe for us.One thing is sure. If proven guilty, this will be the end of Clattenburg's career. (I hope this is the outcome, although I just can't see it happening at the moment...)Media already started turning the whole situation against us...They just can't to wait to denigrate us for something.I think it is best for us to stay away from all of this bullshit and not even think about it. We will see the outcome.
Naked Mole Rat 437
f*****g hate how all the reports read "Chelsea claim" "Chelsea allege" etc. did anyone read a report where it read - "Anton claims"? no, they dived straight into Terry last time and vilified himI don't think Anton Ferdinand made any claim against Terry in the beginning. The issue was brought up by other people, and he just seemed to roll with it.

Reddish-Blue 2,509
Just hope Clattenburg gets banned from Chelsea games.Ending his career would mean nothing...Fergie would just ask the FA to put some other corrupt referee in charge of our clashes against United. Superblue 6,372
The long term fallout is going to be more ref bias against us regardless if proven or not. All the refs are in support of Clattenburg so either way we're going to now struggle to get the rub of the green! Is there no video evidence of what he said, what with all the cameras at the game. If there isn't then we're fucked!!!

See this piece of shit by the mail: http://www.dailymail...y.html?ITO=1490I am becoming more convinced by the minute that we should not have made the complaint. Superblue 6,372
Surely Chelsea officials must have been confident there is sufficient proof besides one or two people hearing it. They were quick enough to shoot down Cole's statement in the Terry saga.If all match officials support Clattenburg thats 3 supporting statements he will have. Without any other evidence this will not hold up! Surely there must be some video evidence! As usual the club decides to implode after a great start to the season! CHOULO19 24,332
obviously Gourlay was involved in the decision to make the complaint but did Roman sanction it.Well he was in the grounds, so it is a possibility that he was consulted before the club issued the complaint. But do you ask the owner about something like this? It is hardly his area of expertise.

Buffalo talks Blue 85
Chelsea has done no wrong by lodging a complain. Racism should be a highly considered matter. Letting it go would have been very stupid. But the thing is there's absolutely no proof that Clattenburg has used any sort of racial insults against two of the Chelsea players since none of those were recorded (very stupid, again). The other officials are definitely going to take Clattenburg's side. So basically if he is not found guilty then our image is slightly ruined. And to make things worst, there is always the media. dave30 728
Its embarrassing this it really is. Changing our story it just looks like were trying to get him back, we should really know how ridiculous the amount of negative attention alleged racism brings to the club. We had the moral high ground with everyone agreeing that it was a poor refereeing performance but no we just look petty and spoiled."CFC standing up to racism since last Sunday"
