So Whelan confirms Moses wants to join us and he will not stand in his way, good for him. This signifies to me RDM will not buy a striker until January if not the whole season and therefore we will see Sturridge more centrally this season and Moses perhaps replacing him on the wings. Hope he will turn out to be a success here if the move finalises. As he develops he can have the full package if he lives up to it, pace, trickery, strength and hopefully more goals

Would be a decent signing. Gives us options. Looking unlikely that we will buy a striker though. Hope we can get Moses in before the Community Shield. Would be a better RW than Ramires (probably).

Why? We're probably still working hard to bring in a top class striker as we won't go into the season with Torres, Sturridge and Moses as CF's when two of them have never even played as a lone striker before. Moses will be a very good and clever signing though

if we loan out Lukaku i still think we`ll sign a striker. i don`t think we`ll sign Hulk now tho so i hope folks give Moses a chance and don`t end up comparing everything he does to what Hulk might have done. we went for the younger, far cheaper option possibly with us getting another player in mind..e.g Moses + striker instead of just throwing all in to get Hulk.

The guardian disagrees with you about the whole Hulk thing. If hulk did become available at 30m, then there's still a good chance we could sign him as a CF as that is what his position was until avb took charge

Still think he'd be a great signing. He's raw, but he's direct, quick and powerful. As has been said, he's a better option to have than Ramires going forward, although I cant remember him playing on the right much, maybe it's just me. Hopefully this could turn out to be a signing in the mould of Valencia.

Let's get this done, and along with a striker and a right-back, we're set.

if we buy hulk then we dont need moses, if we buy moses then we dont need hulk, we need an out and out striker. So to me this means we not getting hulk. I think we get a moses, cesar and a striker. which makes sense because moses, cesar and a good back up striker will cost just a little more than hulk, good business in my opinion.
