^ Correct, but the calibre of opposition defences has somewhat improved since joining a Premier League side :D:lol:

I actually don't particularly want Moses here. He's no better than what we already have, and come next season when de Bruyne returns from Bremen, he'll probably be shipped out himself. Put it this way, he is not Champions League material. He'd excel at a mid-table side like Sunderland, or perhaps at a top 10 side like Liverpool or Everton, but he is not the quality we are looking for in my honest opinion. This would be a token buy.

only reason not want moses is because then we give wayyy to much physicalityy up top. and there are better targets out there.

jovetic is one im fond of. i dont see why people dont like him? he can play both (SS and Rw) rw not as much tbh but he has the qualities for their his dribling speed, crossing well he can work on that. him mata and hazard in attack can be become somthing special....

Undoubtedly talented, but has a history of injuries and would be expensive.

"history" he only had that major injury setback last year and came back magnificent this year

Major injuries at a young age put teams off signing players out of worry it can happen again and hamper what potential they have.

Haven't read the last couple of pages but there must be a reason why we're not just adding a couple of mil if we're truly keen on getting him. When the very first piece of news on this broke (when the twat Whelan said he rejected our 1st bid) my first thought was that we're just using this as a ploy to get Porto to lower their asking price on Hulk and I still think that's what we're doing

I don't agree with that. De Bruyne is an interesting prospect, he has good passing skills and a good menaltity (helps to defend, play with his team mates). But in my opinion Moses is a spet higher than him considering he just achieved a complete season (36+2 games) at 21. Of course he has to work on his finished product at the end of his actions.

But I must admit I'm quite ok with the suggestion that makes Moses the Sturridge replacement in the squad. Sturridge definitely has to play centrally because that's where his speed* and his finishing potential can be used the best way. But this season Sturridge had also a tactical importance, something we didn't had for a long time: he played a very direct way, a lot of 1st intention shots. And he obtained a lot of fouls.

Moses has the same state of mind: put under pressure the defenders and the GK. And I think that with Oscar, Mata, Hazard etc... able to fire a free kick into the net, with Ivanovic, Terry and Cahill and their positionning sense in the box ; it would be a way to create different goalscoring chances.

Yeah, can someone tell me which match he played as a striker? I never knew he can play striker.

In fact he's not a pure striker, he likes long balls on the wings (mostly left), he likes to go through space. But because his game is mostly provocation with the ball, that's rather suited for the wing zone where he likes to go.

This season he always played with a striker able to pusk the defense back: Di Santo who challenges in the air or drops from his upfront position to carry the CB and create a space. Or Sammon who presses really hard.

He's a support stiker but he's aware tactically, he can hold several roles very well

You're saying Moses is better than KDB?, lmao you must be joking me, KDB has potential to be world class, Moses plays a lot of games means nothing, I've seen him and he's a good player but he's not special.

I hate players who get judged off playing lots of games, it doesn't make you better in class for me.
