Popular Post! Kieran. 6,317 Posted August 8, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted August 8, 2014 Agreed, I'm a fan of his game. Direct, pacy, strong on the ball, reminds me a bit of Malouda (09-10 form) but obviously not as good.People on this thread acting like he's Marin... Very decent player, offers something different to our AMs.. Good squad option. LAB, Ainsley Harriott, Stats and 2 others
The only place to be 11,313
Change his name to Mosesdinho and a lot of opinions would change. He's a direct player, a bit rudimentary at times but he produced on the pitch so I'm not sure why certain people dislike him so much. Beepu 1,714
Would be good enough as the 6th AM I think. Besides, isn't he the toughest player Luke Shaw has played against?

Popular Post! lionsden 4,689 Posted August 8, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted August 8, 2014 Was Willian really that much of an upgrade on this guy. He wasn't worth the £30m imo and I would rather have just kept Moses. . . .they are both pacy, energetic, tactically astute , non existent/shit end product and awful decision making. one is just more hyped up than the other. I said it at the time that Willian was an unnecessary and I still stand by that. Azpinator, Kieran., Amblève. and 2 others

If he stays here only a matter of time before everyone complains about him, and wish we sign Di Maria...
Azul 1,615
Schürrle-Hazard-Moses. I think that this trio can work wonders, Moses is a pure winger he offers width which is very important imo. Thoughts?

If he comes in and improves his work ethic he could do a job for us, we'll have to see.

You guys watch football from one end of the pitch, Oscar works hard for the team and what he lacks in high end quality on the ball he more than makes up for in work rate and defensive acumen. Not everyone on the team has to be brilliant on the ball.Anyway back to Moses...He can learn a thing or two from Oscar.

His work rate and defensive acumen are great traits but he does need to show more quality in the final third. I'm not happy with his productivity in the final third, and I'm pretty sure he knows he can do better. In the number 10 role you need to be productive in the final third. It's a necessity IMO. Oscar should be brilliant on the ball, and he's shown flashes of that but he contributed very little in an attacking sense from January onwards. You might as well just stick Ramires in there. He works extremely hard for the team and in the end that takes away from his quality going forward.

You might as well just stick Ramires in there.I realize that but no one was saying anything close to this at any point in 12-13 or the first half of last season when he singlehandedly carried the team. He had a bad spell and looked tired, I don't think that should be overlooked or understated Jose demands a lot from his players and Oscar probably wasn't in the best shape to cope. And yes his work rate for the team does make up the the lack of elite technical ability, when you can find another no.10 that works as hard as him to win the ball and initiate counters then we can talk. I agree that he does need to be far more productive in the final third, but that doesn't mean he isn't a better footballer than Moses. He's young but he still needs to do a lot, lot better.
