ACM Goal Was Offside

480771_267846373331462_2092591790_n.jpg

Lmao that's a bad picture. The line is drawn horribly wrong, the 3 defenders are just about on the same level, while the red line suggests that the right back is much further up than the left back, and the gap between the centre line and red line increases the wrong way. Anyway, it does look like offside, but it doesn't matter.

mata and marin = drools! i justfor anyone doubting marin not beeing starter is skinny in the brain! that guy can move the ball better the hazard so far!

We only have 11 players, i think Marin has been really good for us... But i am fairly certain he will not be a starter... Where will he play? He won't play in front of Hazard, or mata, and Oscar looks likely to play the middle, and therefore there are no more spots left... Not "skinny in the brain", just basic logic and mathmatics...

So we didn't have a good pre-season.Who gives a fuck! Madrid lost 5-2 to Benfica and I am damn sure their supporters aren't behaving like impatient children.

People are afraid of following things- scare tactics if you will

* our new signing not that much different then pass / holding possessopn

* our defense continues being shit, even tho none of the are putting 100% in because this game are just like field trips!

* formation inempt - most deeply some are blaming rDM

Was at the game.....Was unreal!!!!.....it has got to be the highlight of my life.

JT came up and waved at us...I was in 3rd row behind the Chelsea Bench.

Essien, Malouda, and Hutchinson were warming up and everyone was going like Essien Essien, FloMo FloMo.....After everyone shut up I went like Hutch Hutch and he looked at me and waved at me. That was cool.

Essien pointed at the guy sitting infront of me and threw his training jersey at him. I asked him how does it smell....haha..

Torres undoubtedly got the biggest cheer of all the players when he came out to train.

DiMatteo walks like a Boss.

David Luiz is unbeleivable fast. Ivanovic has a great ass and built like a Tank. Marin was pretty good. Hazard is good when he plays in the middle. Frank was alright...Met Man City, Barca, Man Utd, AC Milan, Liverpool and Arsenal Fan.

Will post pics later...

regarding our game, we played like shit and created nothing. Strikers got 0 supply. I think its gonna take a while for these players to gel together. I am not expecting big things from these players this season.

Couldn't watch the game but another game, another defeat. Judging from what I've read, seems like it was another poor performance. This is getting worrying.

And oh, have seen a few fellas saying "Can't wait for Oscar to come back" and that is really another example of people overhyping another youngster. No doubt he would add something different to our team and has potential BUT he is nowhere near a finished article and would need time to settle in. For our sake, I too hope that he can have an immediate impact but people really need to stop expecting too much from our young purchases so far. Oscar is only 21 FFS!

Its really funny considering Oscar has never been here in the first place. Which brings me to another point. Our starting 11 during most of the friendlies comprised new members who've had very little experience playing together. That's why team chemistry is so poor at the moment, especially upfront. The new guys have to start playing alongside the more established players before they can play together. This is why fantasy line-ups involving all of Marin, Oscar, Hazard etc. are pointless at this stage.

we are conceded in preseason always when JT come off (except again MLS,,but he paid off with his goal)..our defence become unsettled because no true leader in defence,,luiz and Brana always out of position,,that make us weak on defence,,but it doesn't matter we are lose,,it's just preseason/exhebition/friendly game,,but from this we can see our weaknees and trying to more improvement for new season..KTBFFH

I have to say there are some worrying signs from pre season, results mean nothing. But our play has been poor, passing has been generally slow and mis placed. We have not had the ability to get up the pitch quickly and involve Hazard or Marin as we should, by the time the ball is getting to them we have a wall of opposition for them to get through and it becomes so congested and tight that we can't work scoring chances. Basically it is old problems that we have not been able to get over. I hope things improve, but i have to say there are some not very good signs coming out of the pre season.

I love it how the ref has fucked us even in our pre-season...we should've had a pen against MLS All Stars on 2-2, but he didn't give it and later they scored. Then Milan scored an offside goal and then ref didn't give us another penalty. Just shows how much things could've turned out differently if that twat blew his whistle a couple of times when he should...

The overall performances would still be pretty concerning though. At this stage it is all about getting systems and styles of play into place for the new season. On that basis we are looking not in good shape.

I agree. What we had shown was not good, but it pisses me of that even in pre-season ref works against us 2 times...pointless to blame the ref though since we should've scored 3-4 against both MLS and Milan though...

I wasn't surprised with our dull attack though. Marin and Hazard making their debuts, Meireles playing as CAM, Benayoun, Kakuta and Ramires as RW and Lukaku as striker? With Romelu's bad movement and players playing off position it's not really a big surprise. That said, I still expected them to do well.

Just relax a little bit, this is all warm up until the Euro Cup Game and the EPL - everything else is simply to be physically prepared for the new season, while gelling with the new players we brought in.

Don't read too much into results from friendly matches.

I think we used up quite a bit of our luck last year - so expect it to be in short supply this season, we'll just have to grind out every result with 100% focus, commitment and determination :D

We need to ensure we don't put ourselves in a position where an 'official' can change the match - I guess that means 3-0 up after 45 mins :P
