Oscar

Had better games, but considering his age and this being his 1st season it's something we could expect.

What keeps impressing me is his work rate. It's really amazing. Lad simply doesn't stop running and quite a few times his pressuring of a player forced him to an error or made him lose the ball. With attitude like that he can become one of the best players we ever had considering his talent and natural ability.

I definitely agree.

Hazard grabs all the headlines and attention from Chelsea fans (when Torres isn't getting it of course) but Oscar has more natural talent and like you said, his work-rate is phenomenal. You just know he's going to give 100 per cent every game and in training every day. Just like Lampard, and look how much of a club legend he turned out to be.

Seems that if Oscar(or Mata or Hazard or anyone else) doesn't score some 30-40 yard goals or tear up the opposition defences, people will immediately regard them as useless, bad player or any negative comments they can think of. Typical.

For the 32 million we payed for Hazard, people would expect more. Maybe not goals but he needs to be a bit more adventurous with his play. Like run at 2 or 3 defenders and put them on there arse etc then shoot. Oscars also not been too adventurous but I don't believe hes that sort of player, he likes to keep the ball moving but should try and shoot more often when hes in a pocket of space. There were chances for both of them to shoot last night but instead they passed it... was crazy. The team in general are overplaying it imo. Oscar's movement dropping deep in the first half to receive the ball was brilliant though, if he keeps doing that there's bound to be a run by someone where he can spray it out to them... well I'd hope..

Forget the price tag for one moment. He has tried to run at 2-3 defenders, taking them on etc but what's probably be missing is the final decisive moment in the attacking third and the lack of options upfront that prevents him to be more clinical.

Yeah he sometimes needs someone to run into space for him to find them or that but I think he should really just go "fuck them I'm going past 3 or 4 defenders here and smashing the ball in the net" and then do it :D

We paid 32 Million for Hazard and 25M or something for Oscar . If they wont create any chances , why do you expect the striker to score ? FUCKLOGIC

He has a 17% conversion rate, Something Hazard and Oscar can do nothing about. 23 shots in the League. Whenever someone does actually give him the ball, He tends to mess it up..

17% conversion rate... it's quite shocking when someone posts a stat like that.

We truly are playing with a 10 man team, it's a fucking miracle that we are 3rd in the league.

Are you saying i'm bad for posting the stat, or the stat itself is shocking? Lol.

And tell me about it, £50million striker. And his conversion rate is 17% that's pretty embarrassing.

Talking about the stat ofc.

It's good to see these kind of stats floating around here, maybe it will help the people still hanging on Torres balls to see that he is shit.

It would be good for Oscar and Hazard to possibly be on the bench for this game, seems both are in a need of a rest - gotta remember these two are still young. We need to give them enough time to remain fresh.

Can't imagine them both sitting. Generally, unless Chelsea are going to move Oscar to deep lying midfielder, I would prefer a rotation of 2 of Hazard, Oscar, and Mata and one of Moses (mostly) and Marin (and maybe Sturridge if we buy a new striker in January)

I'm not impressed at all by Oscar as nb 10 into our starting 11. For me he is more suited as "regista" into our double pivot, to make the break between defense and offense.

But as nb 10, he isn't clinical @ all. (yeah i know he scored 4 times in C1) but i expect more Assist from him.

For me the best staring 11 would be something like this :

Def

---- DM - Oscar or KDB ----

RW - Hazard - Mata ---------

----- World class 9 -----------

I see hazard as our real nb 10, because the link up play with Mata is really good, they are from the same planet. Mata is our best "crosser" so i think he is best suited for the Left wing, but he is also a real nb 10 but hazard is not as good as crosser.

Why, because he's Brazilian? :Goober: I like Oscar, but he's done fuck all for the last half-dozen matches.

Actually in fairness, you can say the same of everyone except for Petr Cech.

LOL, not at all!

It was at November 10th, he was putting some magical UCL performances...

To be fair, he is a ghost on EPL, but he is young and he will adapt. We also dont have a striker and manager!
