the wes 7,212
Hard to believe he is already in his mid 20's. I would sell him to Juventus. Decent player when its all said and done, but I think we need better.on a good day hes world class he's just inconsistent player i wouldn't take less than £30m for him robsblubot
Oscar 441
Allegri is dumb.Pays large transfer fees for both sandro and dybala and neither start on a consistent basis. Italian football is so so................ iseah100

chelseafan26 293
High time we cut our losses. Not only does he not perform, but also blocks the path for youngsters like musonda, boga and RLC.

Never seen them there since 2003It's actually the 2016 Centennial Copa America (celebrating 100 years of the tournament). Got mixed up as USA are the host, which is the first time it's taking place outside SA.
robsblubot 3,595
Listening to a sports talk show from southern Brazil and one of the commentators is a personal friend of Dunga's. Dunga confided that Oscar is indeed not fit and it's not even physical (entirely), but he hasn't regained match fitness since his injury. He seems to be a player who can only deliver when at 100% and that is a problem. He goes from hot to cold very easily and then takes his time regaining match fitness.I still think that when on form, he's a very interesting player and has room to grow, but these long bad patches need to be taken into consideration when assessing him as a player and whether we need more and/or better. Clockwork 1,794
He needs to step it up A LOT, can't see him staying if he doesn't.Damn That sentence could apply to almost everyone tbh.

We sold KDB and Mata for this guy...

We sold KDB and Mata for this guy...You are right, but I could argue Cesc has looked more dire, but that is irrelevant. Neither are playing at a high level expected at Chelsea. Neither is Costa or Matic.I personally stay away from individual personal assessment, at times like this. We didn't sell KDB and Mata because of Oscar. It doesn't work like that. You are simply wishing you had either of them, since they are doing well and Oscar is not.It is more complicated then that. I remember in 2013 when we were linked with Schurrle, I felt we shouldn't sign him due to having KDB coming back from loan. I felt really good at the time about having Hazard, KDB, Oscar, Mata, and Moses for three position. But Schurrle was signed, then we signed Willian on the last day of the transfer window. You could argue Schurrle and Willian signing had a much bigger effect on KDB and Mata. Not to mention Mourinho, just not rating either of them. But I get it blaming Oscar is a nice, effective, and simplistic narrative since he is underperforming. You aren't going to fault Schurrle? He left a year ago. Certainly not Willian either, since he is performing well in most people view.

We will keep on struggling if employing these small squads who rely 100% on the form of certain key players. Not only that is risky because they may pick up injuries and lose form, but also it gives them too much power. We have enough squad fillers already (Mikel, Ramires)..we don't need another one.I just hope the board let Mourinho sign a quality CM in January....maybe we can take advantage of the situation in Paris bethos1
