LDN Blue 7,903
No team should rely on one player only & certainly not Oscar. Lol.Agreed. We were actually lucky, so the speak, that Hazard stepped up while Oscar was going through whatever he was. Hazard wasn't happy with is, as he said post-Madrid. We must have such impact from the right wing and middle of the pitch too.
bushman 2,043
Blue, I never doubt that Oscar has talent, played well until January. I just don't understand how he had died from January on. Of course, I would rather see him playing well again, but for whatever reason if it's repeated, then why keep him?

Of course, I would rather see him playing well again, but for whatever reason if it's repeated, then why keep him?Yeah there's no doubt that if it's repeated then something more drastic will have to be done. Because at the end of the day he's playing in a very important position and you can go too long off form without being indefinitely replaced. I just think the risk is worth taking for now to believe he can rekindle that form or confidence or whatever the issue has become.
bushman 2,043
Blue, I agree. The risk is worth of taking. However, what is Jose going to do if PSG offers 40m for him or Oscar will play immensely in Brazil? What then?
Miguelito 459
A really excellent article on Oscar and his importance for Brazil. I'm always a sucker for articles that praise our players like this, though.http://www.espnfc.us/fifa-world-cup/story/1830040/oscar-is-the-real-key-for-brazil The only place to be and RoyalBlues

Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
If an insane offer comes in I wouldnt be surprised. This world cup will be very important to see what happens though.
bushman 2,043
If Oscar plays well in Brazil & I believe he will, after all he should be well rested since January, then anything can happen.

robsblubot 3,595
Dudes! He's 22!He's only not wearing #10 because coach wants to put more pressure on Neymar - that's really the only reason. (Oscar started as #10 for Brazil) Muzchap

RoyalBlues 4,050
He was "died" after New Year because his head is already in Brazil, they said. And part of me think it maybe true.
