Stingray 9,441
Beginning to suspect that we bought the wrong Oscar. We got an imposter while the real one is still playing at Internacional..Why and how could that be exactly? And I really mean this in a non cynical way. What can be wrong in a club context that gets in the way or blocks even the strongest individual talents. Food for thought. Nobody ever becomes all he or she can be without the right nurturing context. All we know now, is that Chelsea can be be a real hard context (for young guns, strikers, ....). From what i have seen on motivational theory in real life (companies and so on), a strong internally competitive element, which is mostly focused on short term goals, always hinders the bolstering of real, true gems and benefits exactly those you will not carry it in the long rung ... and this is the situation we are in now. Oscar needs nurturing and he will become great. hazard too, as will Moses n Lukaku. The real issue is, will we give them the space (in time and, reputational credit and hold of the banter for a while) to really develop and make their mark. zolayes

Popular Post! Styles 9,790 Posted February 7, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted February 7, 2013 Brilliant performance last night from Oscar. This kid is special.Neymar was a disappointment. Lucas looked very bright. Brazil are going to struggle if they can't find any midfielders better than Ramires and Paulinho. They may be good athletes but they just aren't good midfielders. I hope Chelsea don't go anywhere near Paulinho.Oscar = FabregasI think he's going to be even better than Fabregas. Let's not forget there's nearly a five year age gap between them. remains of the day, kellzfresh, Rmpr and 2 others
SinineUltra 1,170
Is Oscar turning into the new Kalou?A bit unfair imo, he is very young, played out of position due to our situation. He is definitely capable of magic and I'm sure there's lots still to come from him.

Kalou was never as naturally talented as Oscar is right now. Oscar needs a manager that'll develop him properly. He will turn into a beast of a player that way.
