it is true but zolayes was one of those core chelsea fans.some of us like me, sloth, capri etc are the new age chelsea fans who started watchin football (hardcore) from 2004-2005 or something but zolayes was one of the few who knew about the old chelsea. that's why i feel he is a big loss

Have to admit I've become more disinterested lately too. I still read and post, but not as often as before. Maybe it's a summer thing, I dunno. But sometimes I do feel that the whole forum has become belligerent.

You're one of the few from the old forum that still posts here I think. Most of the regulars that I remember -- Yougs, Esk, CJ, Cara, Elliott, -- are gone. I left for quite a few years but eventually made my way back. Hopefully a few of them do the same.

Pretty much it is as I said. People get bored, they leave, and new people come.

Thus threads like this are nonsense, cause then we will have to create one for every member that leaves, like the members you mention.

But than again, is the admin, so he can create whatever dam thread he feels like it!

About the whole Peace and other people leaving, Why should we beg them to come back? If they left thats their choice. Sad to see another member gone but TC will go on without them.

I agree to an extent, but when several top-quality posters leave in a short period of time, then this forces the question: Why? And what can we do to prevent that? We don't want to be loosing quality members at a higher rate than we are gaining them. No offence to the new members (me included!) but people like Peace, Ron and Jai are not easily replaced.

Yeah I remember Elliot! He's how found out about this place or the forum that then led onto this.Spoke to him at a party yonks ago...found his myspace..found a link and volia! Quite a few of the oldies have left which is a shame but cant really do much about it.

I can't see how it being pre-season would affect a members activity seeing as being a Chelsea fan isn't just for the footballing season itself but rather the whole year round and a lot goes on in between each season that affect's the season ahead! Lots to talk about!

Yeah I was in Kenya and to be honest it was really nice to be away from this place for a bit. The problem is people become tired of the endless circus on this forum. I believe its the best Chelsea forum on the net but we have lost some amazing posters since 2007 and its annoying, we have gained some brilliant posters like Term and LDN but we have lost some brilliant posters.

I agree, he represented old Chelsea, something we'll never experience or know about the same way.
