Yeah depends really but Newcastle pulled of 3 good deals using scouting to their advantage, Cabaye, Ba and Cisse. Imagine if we could pull deals similar to that for fees as low as they were. In fact Ba was a free. Cabaye was 4.5 million or something and look at how good he has been and Cisse was 9 million and scored 13 goals in 15 games or something.

Ba played for west ham in the premier league and scored a couple so every one could see that he is worth it! That has nothing to do with good scouts and they could have him for free.

Because they don't have a good CF, thus a lack of goals. They play good possession football with no end product. If Lukaku can become a top class Striker, the Belgian national team will become formiddable.
