Eden Hazard

Guy is meant to be world class right? at this moment in time he is league 2 standard at best.

At the end of the day we need to face facts that he clearly dosent want to be here, could be for so many reasons, Dont like the club anymore, real or psg have turnt his head with silly money etc etc.

When we singed him i never really saw the hype over him (Mainly because i never really saw him play). But when i saw him play for us i was like yeah this guy could be good.

And sadly if he is to get to the standard that is expected of him he wont be getting to that level at Chelsea IMO Nor PSG. Can only see him doing this at Real

Last thing for me with Hazard is that he dont have the right attitude to make it as a top top player, i can see him being on of them players that 'was meant to be'

if rumours are true and If simeone comes in hazard will be out the door in a heart beat simeone likes players who shows passion and wants to play for the club hazard not showing non of that at the moment

If we get Simeone I want him to turn Hazard in to what he turned Arda Turan into, a great attacking player but one who understood his duties in pressing and defending. Arda Turan is the player Simeone trusted to man mark Ronaldo.

It has nothing to do with fans' perception of what is written in those interviews.

Professional footballers are public figures, and as such they are to confront the media. Giving an interview is an integral part of their job and is a real 'discipline', just like taking a free-kick or a penalty. They have to train themselves for it ; and if they do not, or feel that they are not good at it, then they have to restrain themselves to give interviews — just like a player restrains himself to take penalties when he is not good at it.

Every word they say is potentially harmful for themselves, their entourage and eventually for their employers and their club. If they are paid millions, it is not merely to kick the ball in the park like kids but to have a professional behaviour — and that professional behaviour includes to give interviews that won't be harmful for their employers.

As it has already been said, this is not the first time that Hazard gives an interview that creates bad noises around Chelsea. The first time around, okay you can forgive him because it is true that everyone can be caught off guard by journalists' slyness. However by now he should know better and he should be able to behave himself better in this practice. And if he cannot, then he should stop altogether to give interviews. Or, if he is not clever enough to see the problem, then the club should take the decision for him and forbid him to approach any journalist.

I wholeheartedly agree on media training.

I also agree with what you have written, the only 'but' I have is that of 'actual intelligence' - now this might make me sound a bit of a dick, but with very few exceptions, the average footballer is not known for their cognitive prowess or varied vocabulary - they usually repeat the same 5 or 6 words over and over again in an interview :) and use phrases out of context - the manager has installed confidence, no dickhead, it's 'instilled' confidence ??

im just not sure how bright Eden is and whether his general laissez faire (sp?) attitude sometimes creeps in when it shouldn't

whatever the situation a 'smart' man would come out and clarify the situation, reassure the fans and give 100% on the pitch.

Lets hope he picks up the mantle in the next few games, that could see us progress in the cup and the CL.

He just doesn't seem up to it. Not signs of him regaining last season form IMO

Nah I am not worried about hazard.

He has so many injuries this season, it will take time for him to get back on form.

I think people have to realize that Hazard is our best player, in order for us to start winning games consistently we need him to start playing better

Thought he played very well in the second half after a decent first half.

Maybe I expect too much from him. His second half was definitely better but still not to his (or mine?) standards.

I said he played very well though. Not great, excellent or exceptional.

Think calling his performance over 90 min mehh is harsh. Willian was mehh for me.

Can't get over the fact that he's so slow though.
