But Ronaldo wanted to play for Madrid and since they offered United that much money, they would be silly to turn it down. Wouldn't want to keep a player against his wishes if it comes down to this with Hazard in the future.

First of all, this is actually really from quite a while ago. We have been through this topic very extensively in this thread actually. I do not know why The Sun came up with this again. quite sensation-seeking really.

Furthermore and even more sensation seeking: it was caused by a very, very lousy tranlsation from French. Eden didn't say anything + Benteke just mentioned that Edens favorite club used to be Real. The 'His dream is to join Real Madrid' is very badly translated and taken way out of context. Nothing more. I find it actually appalling they even dare to write a caption/title like 'Eden Hazard wants to join Real Madrid'.

Seems more like attempt to destabilize .... Benteke talks (and carjacks) too much :-) Didn't he himself say he had a dream to joing Arsenal. So you see : way too much idiotic talk from him.

Can anyone blame him for wanting to jump ship? We've lost 3 cup finals and our only chance of a trophy this season is the c.o.c ffs and maybe Europa League, and not to mention the ridiculous turnover of managers. The club is a shambles and players like Hazard, Mata and Oscar deserve more than the shite they've been copping.

@ManUScum:&Co: I read many articles on Hazard over the years, so I believe to know a bit about his psyche. I am SURE that the spell of misfortune the club is having

only serves as incentive for him to personally want to perform better. He's not the kind of player to want to "jump ship", he's too much of a winner for that. I'm not saying

he will stay with us for the rest of his carreer, Spanish clubs or Arab oil sheiks tend to throw with too much money to be sure of that, but I do know he'll not leave before

having at least won every trophy once with his team. Judging from his performace today he's having the time of his life over here, he's not leaving any time soon!
