88m£ is jackshit in today market, regardless if Hazard is 28 and one year left on contract.

What the hell can we buy with that cash if we could? We can buy one player that is nowhere near Hazard quality or buy couple decent squad fillers.

Market for english clubs is extremely inflated and we cant even manage to get 100m pounds for one of the best players in the world.

Chelsea should tell Real to pay 120m£, take it or leave it. 

When we will be able to buy again, market will inflate by another 10m. Wait when we will try to buy a fullback, cb, midfielder and they all will cost 70m or more, never mind the attackers.

Eden Hazard is set to join Real Madrid after the Spanish club and Chelsea agreed a fee in the region of €100m (£88.5m) plus add-ons.

Hazard said after Chelsea won the Europa League final against Arsenal that “I think it is a goodbye, but in football you never know”. At that point Real and Chelsea had not agreed on a fee but on Wednesday night they did with the announcement set to follow in the next few days. The two clubs are now preparing the contracts to be signed.

The 28-year-old Belgian will leave Stamford Bridge after seven hugely successful years at the club, winning the Premier League twice, one FA Cup and two Europa League titles.

It's super weird that you'll stop following him on twitter because he changed clubs. I thought he meant much more to us than that. As for me, I'll continue to follow his progress at Madrid 100%

It really depends on the structuring of the deal. the base fee says nothing. If it is something like 88m + 20m for 20 appearances, 35 for 50 and another 25 once he wins his ifrst title etc.. it could still be a good deal for us. The bigger the deals get the more the buying clubs wants to make sure that it only pays big if the signing is the success that can be expected.  I also think that there was more in it and marian once again failed at her job but i dont think that this is a 88m flat deal. We rejected 88m flat before and now they come back with the same deal and we accept it? no way. We could drag this deal all summer and real would get nervy. No we only accept those ridiculous 88m because Real came back with a sginficant increase in the bonus payments.

Will be interesting to see if we go in for Kovacic what they'll be demanding from us?

If we have decided to buy him then hopefully that has also been discussed and we'll be getting some form of discounted deal from them.

It is frustrating in recent seasons to see two of our best players leave for them on hugely discounted transfers because of their contract situations, and we've been fleeced royally off them for Morata.
