Not just Eden but footballers in general are absolute snowflakes now, does my fucking head in.

Manager X criticizes player Y, tells him he's not doing enough and player sulks and doesn't do his job. I don't know the full ins and outs or what has been said so this may apply or not.

My dad was managed by Brian Clough, Cloughie called my dad out once and said "Listen son your not doing enough, you've been shite for weeks now" My dad spent 3 weeks cleaning boots and washing changing room floors.

Really? 2 bad seasons he got no criticism for and a lot of poor performances this one when we all know he can do better.. its been a long time coming. Lets not sugarcoat it. If anybody is happy with him half arsing it and playing poorly like has the last while bar the Spurs game then I would be surprised. Sarri called him out for playing how he wants, not how the manager wants him to do. The manager is top dog, not Eden. Team comes first before him too. I agree. But the players are that way because clubs tolerate that shit. 

If Sarri benches such player, he gets the sack while player gets backing by entire board. 

They know that and thats the real problem.

Hazard carries this team. If he plays well, the team plays well. If he doesn't play well, the team doesn't play well. 

It's been like that for a while now. There just isn't anyone else he can look to to share the burden. 

Our most succesfull years ,after the old guard era, was when we had Costa and Fabregas. Why ? because Costa took some of the burden by scoring 20 goals.

Because Fabregas took some of the creative burden. People here expect Hazard to be some 1 man army.

Always playing great in nearly every single game. The consistency you demand doesn't exist. It simply doesn't exist. No one is that consistent maybe if you only watch the highlights of the other teams. 

C ronaldo had months where he looked like shit, Neymar went several months without scoring a single goal at Barcelona, Messi had periods where he looked like he was going out for an evening stroll.  

They're human beings. Form fluctuates. They have periods where things go great and periods where things aren't going great.

When Hazard has his period where things don't go great, we crumble and you people fucking crucify him for it every single fucking time.

The thing is bro, the team only play well when Eden plays well because the rest of the team are shit. That's because the board rely on Hazard to carry them. So in conclusion, Hazard kind of is the problem. If he goes then maybe the board will have no other choice than to buy more decent players. Otherwise be prepared for Everton-esque status.

Also you can't deny if you are really a Chelsea fan and not just a fan of Hazard, that his constant talk of Madrid and careless attitude is detrimental to the team and club in terms of togetherness and respect.
