Good news is I think he is highly motivated to bounce back and perform well.

Bad news is that the motivation may stem from wanting to be move on next summer.

That will depend on the interest. He said he's not interested in going back to France so no PSG. Leaves you with Real and Barca. Don't think Barca will be in the market for a (left) winger for a while. Ronaldo is still going strong so Real isn't very likely. Though you never with Real. I'm excluding Bayern because they won't pay the fee.

He might be around for longer than we think.

Let's hope so.

I pray so because I can easily see Ronaldo moving to #9 like he did for Portugal this summer and Hazard replacing Benzema in their team.

Imagine he played with a Mkhitaryan, or Alexis Sanchez, or a Mahrez.

I know this point has been beaten to death, but the attacking talent Hazard is surrounded with, is West Ham quality levels.

Man needs to be playing with the likes of Isco and Griezmann.

Yeah but that's why I also hope he develops that goal instinct that's been missing from his game. From the Euros and the few pre-season game he's played for us he looks like he's willing to find the back of the net more than another player. Considering you're point that's exactly what need from the Belgian.

Who knows where Costa's head is at. Far too much smoke about him wanting to rejoin Atletico without there not to be some fire behind it and if we don't cash in then we need him to be up for the cause, otherwise what's the point? Conte needs to take the Shankley approach, if they don't want to play for Chelsea and all of us then sell them and bring someone who will. The last thing we want is another season of retrospective bans, enough of that pettiness.

I like the second-striker position Conte's experimented with him for, but even if he's out wide cutting inside, I hope he'll continue this goal finding form. The runs he was making v Tottenham on the back of last season to do just that was wonderful. If he and Costa can get their chemistry right then we won't have to make Lukaku the fifth most expensive player in the world -_-

Good news is that Real have transfer ban for next summer.

Bad news is that they may save money then to grab him in 2 years time.

BTW I just reminded myself that there were people out there who said that he will be dropped because he doesn't work hard enough for Conte liking.

@Styles You have that mental notes on Hazard saved up in safe place mate?

The only player of Hazard's wave length is Fabregas in term of how they look at each other and keeping the ball and Fabregas doesn't seem to be a guaranteed starter

He had to same connection with Mata. We need to up the quality around him, Oscar and Willian just don't cut it for me

If you ever thought Hazard lets himself go in between seasons, take a look at Higuain. Wtf. Juve paid a record sum for him and he comes back from holidays looking like my dad.

Looks like a retired player playing in a testimonial game.

Finally he looks more decisive when it comes to goals, maybe Conte told him to do so more often. If everything goes right he is going to have a great season. I just hope Conte creates a good, organized attacking system, which Mourinho failed to do in the last three years. We can't rely on Hazard and Costa to do the offensive job basically alone anymore, as Hazard isn't scoring that much and Costa gets himself suspended many games per season.

Hazard: "We know last season wasn’t good enough and we will try to have a new dynamic and start the season well.“ [Sky]

Q: Will the fans see a different type of #Chelsea? - Hazard: "Maybe. When a new manager arrives, he wants to change a lot of things.“ [Sky]
