There are TOO MANY players to choose from whom we could replace Hazard with and actually play better football. He is not the player he was hyped to be (yet). Far from an untouchable. A goalie wins you so many more points than your attackers unless you've got an Aguero or Suarez. we failed because of the board. though that doesn't excuse Hazard being pony. I understood that he didn't have this winning mindset, but then I thought Jose could give him this winning mentality and working with champions, he would have that; But we have the answer now, despite his tremendous talent, he is what he is. Just sell him for 100M euro to Real. Then buy another Willian less talent but more will and at the end of the day, bigger player. Mate, even Perez is not dumb enough for half of this. James is miles better than eden. Isco is as good if not better than hazard. but considering his role in RM and the fact that hazard has some marketability in the world, we can pull off isco+money for hazard. also, that would take care of our CAM problems. His performance against PSG wasn't any worse then that of Willian or Pedro. He didn't miss any big chances nor did he commit any defensive errors yet since the game ended his thread has been by far the most active out of all the player threads. Everyone just popping up to vomit their frustration onto Hazard. Or someone who actually can score a goal that isn't a penalty. Joe Cole and Duff were great players but didn't have as much talent as Hazard, difference being Joe and Duff always worked extremely hard for the team and looked liked they wanted to play for us. Di Maria had a brilliant game, he was all over the place, world class player. He's a much better player than De Bruyne or Lukaku, Van Gaal has to answer some questions! Hazard should be our main man, Schurrle once said that no one gets more freedom to express himself than Hazard. He should have shown more effort, there was a time when he put defenders on the floor, but that has to happen more often, he is that good. He didn't do it and one has to wonder why. I appreciate that he took shots when he had the chance, but overall his performance wasn't good enough, he's not living up to his potential. I question how he left the pitch, the stage doesn't get any bigger than this and it looks like he had thrown the towel early, would have never seen anything like that from Frank Lampard who had to be carried out under those circumstances, never give up seems to be a gone attitude at the Bridge. It's not about being a scapegoat at all. He's supposedly our best player, our last years player of the year and is contributing about as much as I am to the team. You are using Willian as a yard stick but that isn't wise in this situation. Willian has been magical all season, to a point that it doesn't surprise me if he has a quiet game, he's probably fucked after carrying a lot of average players including Hazard. People are 'popping up' mate because it's the Hazard thread, and he's been absolute mince all season. He needs to leave because for a player he is, some ppl here dont deserve to watch him in the club. He carried us the last season, made us champions and now ppl compare him with James, Schurle and etc. Just to ask those James fans - have u watched James games? With what he is better than Hazard ??
