Peppi85 110
I agree. I think It could work given the right guidance and if he works on his shooting. The way we played did make it difficult for a false 9 to work. We didn't retain possesion enough. The amount of times Hazard received a proper ball last night could be counted on 1 hand.About his finishing. He's just not used to getting into goalscoring positions. At Lille he was always the player that gave the assist or pre assist. Rarely was he the one who got on the end of chances because there just wasn't anyone good enough in his team to regulary put him in goalscoring positions.Don't worry his finishing will improve as he gets into these positions more and more. Imo experience plays a big factor. He made 12 field goals last year?! When he got in front of the goal he always kept cool & finished...He just had some bad luck with his finishing lately! How lucky was Buffon yesterday? Lets be honest on this one...Juve's goals got deviated in the goal & Hazard's ball gets deviated out of it... Peppi85 110
A 32 m player should be more clinical in front of goal.He didnt even got half the chances Sturridge or Torres had on goal... Mata & Oscar missed great chances aswell yesterday...Luis Suarez misses chances in 1v1, Aguero does so. Even Messi doesnt score his chances 1 outa 2... So why expect Hazard to do that? STOP EXPECTING THE IMPOSSIBLE. Chelsea doenst CREATE enough chances! Thats the main issue! Belgiannutt
Stingray 9,441
He tried. While skipping past one, he hit the ball and It deflected a lil while going between the goalies legs. Fuck sake. Stop the fucking whining. Mata, missed, Oscar missed, Mikel always misses and our striker doen't even try. Ow, you do know he (and oscar ) are new, settling in and are also fucking young? This shit happens, nothing to do with 30 mil. Wanker. Fuck sake! Belgiannutt, Stats and OReillyD36

But we did not pay 32m for sturridge. Last season Sturridge saved us many times. Hazard is yet to come out at times when we needed him. He has not done any thing so far to be even equal with Sturridge. He has missed two sitters against QPR, then another one in Turin at a critical time. A top player with 32m price tag should have atleast scored one of them
ChelseaChelsea 37
Add to that, he has scored two goals from Penalty Spot. One deflected goal. So, only one goal was really good. Did not expect such from a player who flirted so much before the transfer.

KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
I hope Rafa doesn't bench Hazard. Out of the 3 Maestros something tells me Hazard is in the most danger from Rafa's system. Stats
Popular Post! Belgiannutt 3,201 Posted November 22, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted November 22, 2012 @ChelseaChelsea Fuck off. I can't even begin to tell you how much you pissed me off. He's 21. In his first season at a new club, new country, new league, new system, new language. In 12 games he's scored 3 times, assisted 5, gave 27 keypasses, won 2 penalties and should have had a couple more. That's not bad for a 21 y old in his first season PL.He's yet to come at times when we need him? Did you like miss the beginning of the season where he won us the first games ?Or his assist against Tottenham for Mata which gave us the lead ? Or his cool penalty and his assist against Man united in the league cup ? In 13 games(12 PL+1 LC) he's played a major role in 5 of them. The 3 missed chances: The first the goalkeeper saves well. Hazard had to take it with his left foot. The second the ball bounces just before he hit it. The third Buffon gets lucky he deflectes it with the inside of his heel.Willian and Reus playing a lot better ? Well go support Shaktar or Dortmund then. Weckerz 3,781
While some criticism is definately justified (ie his finishing, lack of 1on1's), some people on here seem to really dislike Hazard. Most of the Brasilians do for instance. I suppose that is due to Oscar fanboyism and apparently the need to constantly compare them with each other. Too many Oscar and Hazard fans instead of Chelsea fans tbh. They are both super young for christ sake. You better cherish them both as I'm sure they will be crucial to Chelsea's succes in the coming years. So many are expecting them to perform like a veteran 28 year old player, they're not. Yes Hazard has a 32million price tag, a price that was paid for the future, not to grab another CL win or a PL win this year... Rmpr 8,977
@Weckerz, SHUT THE FUCK UP!How many Brasilians you know?Henrique is a bit delusional, so dont take him as an example. Anyone who is a fan of Corinthians is just trolling and the rest actually praise Hazard. Oscar played for Sao Paulo and Internacional, there are many more fans theoreticaly against him (Gremio, Palmeiras, Santos, etc) than in favour of him. In Brasil, rivalry is one of the biggest aspects of the league.Go to Chelsea Brasil (www.chelseabrasil.com) and put on Google the quotes about Hazard. Are Belgians impartial when talking about Hazard, KDB, Lukaku, Fellaini and Kompany just because of their nationality?NO, the same with us. True. Us belgians should NOT make the mistake of generalisation, nor go into worshipping our fellow belgians. Why we react so strongly about Hazard is because he seems to get a lot of flack while he is young, doing good (not great atm), has shown immense potential with Lille (remember how he single handedly raped Liverpool?) and at he beginning of the season. The ease with which some want to shoot a talent like him down on here is appalling and I would never do that to eg Oscar ( even he also had his bad games in the pl, as you can expect from a young gun). It makes me afraid about the fate of other belgian talents like KDB, Courtois and certainly Musonda jr. (Not often mentioned but regarded as a HUGE, Huge talent here). Disregarding nationality, I share that fear for Chalobah, Piazon, etc. We should be more mature in our judgement of young players. They need our cnfidene to grow and reach their potential really. So peace Brazilian brother! Rmpr, Belgiannutt and zolayes

It is just pathetic!I agree we must improve our treatment on young players and stop being such drama queens. I also have the same fears as you do. People also tend to forget the past quickly. This forum went nuts when we signed him (specially because of his twitt)!I am not raging against Belgian, not at all, please. I just found absurd his comment on the Oscar Brazilian Fanclub.
