Chelsea want over £100m to let Eden Hazard join Real Madrid

https://metro.co.uk/2019/02/06/chelsea-want-100m-let-eden-hazard-join-real-madrid-8455576/

Chelsea will not allow Eden Hazard to leave on the cheap this summer and will demand over £100million from Real Madrid. The Belgian is out of contract in 2020 and will have 12 months remaining on his existing deal this summer. Hazard revealed this week that he had made a decision on his future but refused to confirm whether he will sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge or pursue his dream move to the Bernabeu. Reports on Tuesday suggested Hazard had made his mind up on a move to Madrid and the Evening Standard claim Chelsea will demand a record-breaking fee for the Belgian.

Despite the fact that he will have just a year left on his contract, Chelsea reportedly want over £100m to allow Hazard to leave. That would be a record outgoing fee for a Chelsea player and the Blues hope it’ll be so prohibitive that Madrid will cool their interest in the winger.

The Star is on crack if they think RM will give us £140m or so in players (they rate Isco at 90m to 100m and Kovacic, I am sure, at 40m to 50m)

Picture number 2 is wrong in many ways. Number one I like. Lozano is available for 35-40m. Napoli are after him and we are crazy not to be in that race.

As immense as Eden can be at times, is it wrong of me to secretely want him to go this summer for the benefit of the teams progression as a whole?

Depends where the funds are going.

Pepe and Isco + a striker should be utilised from Hazard's funds alone.

As satisfying as that may sound, I really don't think obtaining those 2 players and a quality striker is a feasble acquisition from the sale of Hazard. We will be lucky to get anything over 100m for Eden. Isco and Pepe would be valued at more than 100m together if not close to that fee as individuals considering how nuts the market is these days.

Number 1 is OK but still need a permanent striker! And both Pully and Lozano are predominantly RW tho Lozano is much more open to LW too.

But as we will be lucky I feel if RM offer us anything over £50m we will need to pay up for them.

The best realistic option will be to take Isco for him as they wont give us Junior.

Am I the only one who would rather take James Rodriguez than Isco in exchange? Assuming that Bayern will not take their option to buy the Colombian (why would they, he sits on the bench a lot these days)

How much would he be?

We'll probably be still committed to Barella though.

That is exactly who I want for our No. 8 role. He will be our ericson. Assist king, great crosser, set piece master and can shoot from long range. He has played that role under Ancelloti in madrid and got 15goals 15 assists in the league. He should be our No.1 target if Hazard leaves

Isco is less intelligent tactically and perhaps a bit more of a luxury player. Both great players but James on his day for me is better. Score, assist, good delivery from set plays, good shooter...

All well and good but Rodriguez isnt a LW an d we will be needing a replacement for him

Rodriguez is essentialy a CM

We have a few of them already.

We need a proper ACM

CHO and Pulisic to battle it out I suppose

CHOs not ready to start 100% and that leaves the other wing open that way.

We need to be getting rid of willian which leaves Pedro as 2nd back up to Pully and CHO.

Still leaves the LW bare tho.

Me. I think we need a few upgrades. Or players when Eden and CHO leave

LW,ST,AMC,LB,RN and we need to start progressively getting Ampadu and od AC ready to take over Luizs spot.

Most would characterize James as a luxury player and less intelligent tactically between the two. Isco is a proper midfielder with a better work rate. Biggest reason why Zidane didn't rate James was due to his tactical intelligence and work rate.

Between the two i would take Isco, especially in midfield. I still rate James though.
