Jusek 2,031
I'd say he'll take number 17 in honor of the mighty Josè Bosingwa!
Term-X 7,891
It's not even debatable tbh, he cost over £30m, he will be a first team player, and there is only 1 first team number available...Simple logic. It would be absolutely unacceptable if he ended up with any other number under the circumstances, Kenyon would certainly be rolling in his grave. Term-X 7,891
I remember a reliable Belgian paper said he would wear 17.That paper was reported on a chelsea blog, it was only a short article and they were merely 'specultating', no quotes. And is Kenyon dead?Kenyon was smart and understood the marketing importance of numbers. Hence why he upset Gallas by giving in to Adidas/Ballack's representatives, by switching his number to 3 without his permission.

Badboy 1,526
If Hazard has a similar impact as Mata in his first season then i'll be over the moon. He's only 21 years of age and we have to be patient because at the end of the day the chances of him having an absolute blinder in his first season like Arjen Robben is probably unlikely even though it could happen. He's got brilliant touch, technique and awareness and he will along with Ramires offer us a counter attacking option which is absolutely vital. He said that when he was with Belgian team to Belgian press. Really doubt foreign press spots that if no media in Belgian whatsoever thinks this is newsworthy. That's why there are no quotes; it had no importance.

So naturally for a signing of this nature, it would certainly be big enough news to reach these shores.

Zone 290
The media made Hazard look like a prick but every Lille supporter says that he gives 100% in every game and watching his interviews he does sound like a decent guy.Didi made #11 legendary and i think giving Eden the shirt would mean a lot to him. Word to everything Term said in this thread.edit: Number 7 would fit him perfect but it would be disrespectful to Ramirez to change his number just because of a new signing. He's too much of a boss for that. xPetrCechx
BlueSanti 290
Am I the only one who really doesn't care about fucking number on his kit? He can wear whatever he wants I am more interested about his performance.

Popular Post! Atholy 1,293 Posted June 27, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted June 27, 2012 Belgian Football Magazine (sport voetbal magazine) comes up with a report of some extra info about Eden's transfer.A total of 8(!) clubs came up with serious offerts to try and attract Hazard during the last season. Hazard said no to Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Tottenham, Man City and eventually also Man United!Already in january, when he announced he was going to play in the EPL, Barcelona, Madrid & Inter were out of the race. Hazard prefers the EPL because it's a competition that fits him well with a lot of pace & dedication on the pitch & a great atmosphere on the stands. Eden thinks english football fits him best of all European leagues.Arsenal was the first EPL team that was erased from his wishlist => not enough maturity in the team + too much uncertainty around Van Persie. Tottenham attracted his interest but then totally collapsed at the end of the season.Eventually it was clear that it would become a struggle between United and us! United offered better wages (!!) ... but Eden preferred the Blues ( :blue scalf: )because he was promised to become the #10 of a whole new and attacking young team. He believes a lot in the potential and the ambitions of our club! Eat this Real, Barcelona and the rest of the EPL teams lecter, bababoom, Melanicus and 4 others
