These player-manager stories are made up 90% because they sell papers. Stuff that happens on pitch is business and they probably dont give two shits about it after, but media blows it out of proportion. The only clashes happen when both have massive ego: like Ibra and Pep. Eden isnt one of those and if Real comes knocking, I guess he would play for Mou, Conte or whoever else will be there. Can't believe that, I do think that players relationships with their manager plays a large part of their attitude at work, And having a manager they dont like at a club that want him would surely make a big part of their decision. I know it would me. It would just make it hard to go to work in the morning.

robsblubot 3,595
Went missing against Arsenal. No excuses: false nine, Sarri BS. He saw a lot of the ball while playing false nine and then when back in a free role. Held to the ball too long, did not pass quickly enough and always looked for the dribble. He is our most important player and we need him to step up in these games. This was not it. 0007
Kajo 176
He is our best player and he shouldn't be playing as a false 9 it simply doesn't work. Seems like Italians got a thing for that. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Look even if he detested the position and he stamped his tiny feet and held his breath till he turned blue and sqweamed and sqweamed every curse word under the sun he should still do the nest job that he could and I dont see that he's tried. Its as clear as the grimaces on our faces hes off and we should have had all this sorted a year ago. But we have to NOW seriously get into the market for a replacement. Do we go for a LW or a RW and put Pully over o LW? Whether one way or the other we got options like Coutinho,Chiesa,Isco,Werner (striker yeah but also LW) , Suso,Malcom,Lozano,Thauvin,Bailey, Coman,Hazard.Bertrand Traore, and probably another 20 that Mz @Vesper will add on.But we do need to do it now, Whats your options guys? The club would be silly to try and replace Hazard directly just like when they needed to replace Lampard, we brought in a completely different player and changed the approach. I think for the club to adequately replace him, it needs two players to be purchased. I don't see anyone else that can replace the chance creation and dribbling ability of Hazard being able to conjure something out of nothing. I do think though that there are wide players who are quicker, can play in a more direct way rather than feeling the need to drop deep and are more comfortable and prepared to press high and aggressively. There are players who can operate out wide also who may not be as creative but can offer similar or potentially better goal outputs. For me the club would need to concentrate on buying a goal scoring winger who plays more direct than Hazard and would replace his goal output and a much more creative player to play the central midfield role who would in theory take over the creative output that you lose from Hazard. Names! Easy to say goal scoring winger. And we NEVER did replace Lamps. Never even got close to a similar type. If we had one now then we wouldn't be in this much shite. DDA 10,244
Eden was awful yesterday. Again we will have to see the Hazard fanboys defend him with their lives because he couldn't possibly dribble unnecessarily into dead ends, make the wrong runs or make the wrong pass over and over again. Not Hazard, no! On a positive note, I don't think I saw him make one ridiculous backpass yesterday. Unionjack and 0007

Because if anybody dares to criticze Eden certain members pop up saying that it is controversial of wrong to criticize him or have some excuse. Has been the same shit for years, folk act as if hes the only ever top player to have pulled on the shirt for us (hes not, he could be one of the very top top ones but I dont even think he will be in the Lampard, Drogba, Cech, Terry bracket because those guys were world class, never lost their desire, won trophies during the club's most successful period). Although if Willian, Pedro, Alonso, Jorginho, Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Morata or whoever play like Eden has done at times the last few years theres a virtual pitchfork mob trying to chase them out the club. Eden is world class but you wouldnt think that at all recently. Needs a rocket up his arse. He may not like playing false 9 but instead of acting like a baby, constantly swinging his arms up to complain or that in games, he has to work, do the job and do it well. End of story. Same with everybody else in the team. robsblubot, Jase, DDA and 1 other

And thats been the same with him since we first bought him. I've said many times theres not a better sight in football than WHEN Eden shows up and hes doing his shit. But then theres the weeks on end that he offers nothing much at all. He should be able to reach deep down and lead by example. I'm not getting on only at him as we have been in this situation every other year and even on those good years have a spell like it. Apart of course years when we FTW! Ahhh! Maybe one day again! Exactly my point we replaced Lampard with Fabregas - a completely different player but changed the style and approach to his strengths rather than Lampard's and we've won 2 league titles since then. With regards to names I'm not sure, I don't watch the amount of European football i wish I could when i was younger but City brought Sane, Liverpool brought Mane and Salah. There are players out there who would suit the system we're trying to play with the characteristics we're looking for. The scouting department need to pull their fingers out. Or we convince CHO to stay and give him that opportunity. Unionjack

I don't care how crazy it sounds, but we should have a go at Mbappe. I already showed how to pay for both him and Icardi and have hundreds of millions of quid left over to further boost the squad all over. Oki, now back to the reality of our fucked up board the main wingers we should be targeting (I am listing every single one I rate for us) and this is with CHO and Eden leaving LW Vinícius Júnior (try to force a swap for Hazard, probably zero chance RM goes for it, who knows, I would so so accept him plus £50m for Eden at thsi point) Hirving Lozano Marco Asensio Thomas Lemar Thorgan Hazard Ismaïla Sarr Steven Bergwijn Mikel Oyarzabal Kingsley Coman youth Rodrygo (same as Vinícius Júnior, but still in Brasil, Real already bought him too (over £40m) Willem Geubbels Justin Kluivert Javairô Dilrosun RW Nicolas Pépé Suso Leon Bailey Federico Chiesa Malcom Florian Thauvin David Neres Federico Bernardeschi Iñaki Williams Wilfried Zaha youth Samuel Chukwueze Ferrán Torres Reiss Nelson Yann Karamoh feel free to add, I think that if ALL of these were removed from any chance or us buying we would BE FUCKED

RoyalBlues 4,050
After the match yesterday, got the feeling 99% he will be leaving in the summer, no matter who we buy now and later or what we achieve this season. “Can’t wait to see Pulisic and Hazard playing” not going to happen imo. The good thing is that I think we have already got his replacement in Pulisic. Just spent the rest of the money we got to buy 1-2 more players Sarri needed. I hope I am wrong, and he surprised me by signing the extension though. The thing I could only see 1% chance it would be happening at the moment. 0007, Vesper and Johnnyeye
