I personally don't think it will happen, with all our new signings we don't want him as much as we did before, and added to the fact Porto won't be reasonable for price will mean to buy him we will have to pay over the odds, which our board should see is unecessary and not needed at this point.

Physical? He go down easier then Oscar :|. You must know HOW to use your muscles.

Bigger guys tend to fall down easier. Your statment isn't correct, you are saying that Messi is stronger than Hulk. And it's not about how are you using you muscles.

Well after seeing Sturridge today, I hope he gets as much time as striker this season. This gives me more hope for this transfer, not only will we have one of the best RW, scoring several goals, for years to come, but he could also save the day at striker if Torres and Studge flop. Let's do it meng!

He's 26, we need more players around that age.

Cole, Terry, Lampard, Essien, Cech, Torres to name but a few... Are you suggesting we need experience?

I actually like that we have pursued players under the age of 23-24 recently. Means they should grow as a team, giving us a great spine for years to come.

Its great having all these young players but if there's not enough experience around you will struggle, if there is anything we should have learned from laughing at Arsenal the last 7 years it should be that.

Plus 25-29 are the peak ages, we don't have enough of those in numbers or quality.

From The Portuguese Press:

'Incredible' Hulk is in balance

Hulk can leave FC Porto for 40 million euros. The guarantee was given by Pinto da Costa the Brazilian entrepreneur, Gus Fonseca, a time when the player is pointed to England's Tottenham and Chelsea and the French Paris Saint-Germain.

Meaning they'll accept a 40m euro offer?
