Hulk is a perfect buy for us. I believe he has the strength to succeed in the premiership.

Hulk looked dangerous against team GB. For me, he only reinstated why we should buy him. Provides physicality and strength (skinned Micah Richards alive to win the Penalty). He also gives us width. Hope we go back in for him.

Hulk is the most important piece to the puzzle. A must buy in my opinion. Even if it takes £35-38m, we should just do it. Shirt sales and new sponsorship will ensure we won't be regretting it later. I know he'll be a success here. DO IT ROMAN!

Yes we may be, however I think 6th to 1st is too big a jump, especially after all the young new players we're getting. I think our Defence may need a bit of strengthening down the line. I think we'll finish top 3 easily with a few cups.

In my opinion, Arsenal won't be nearly as flukey and lucky without RvP, Spuds will lose Modric and won't be as strong, and I'm not so sure Newcastle will be as good as they were.

3rd is the lowest I can see us finishing as long as we're healthy. I think we're probably just as good as United now, and with a those three signings stated above, we'd be right there with City.

Yes but like I said it will take time to gel together and for our new players to adapt to a new, tougher league. I do agree however that 3rd is the lowest we'll finish.

Agree. City had much more talent than United last season and were much healthier and they still finished even on points. I think the goal this season should be a CL Spot and to be competitive in all competitions while transitioning successfully into the new style that Roman wants. If we win something, obviously that's even better.

I absolutely, unequivocally agree. If Mourinho was the City manager, with that squad he'd have won the league by the end of April and posted 100+ points. Mancini is tactically inept and not particularly good at keeping his squad in order (as we can see through Tevez and Balotelli both playing up). He only won the league - with that squad (Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko, Balotelli, Silva, Nasri, Yaya, Johnson, etc. etc.) - on goal difference. He very nearly blew it. The longer they delude themselves with the idea that Mancini is the messiah, the better. I do not want to demean his achievement, because winning the league is a phenomenal feat. But, like Ancelotti, he only won the title by the skin of his nose when in reality it should not have been such a close-run thing.

That's what I love about RDM, he's always so 'classy' in front of a camera - absolute dignity and it's nice for a change that other fans also think he is a class act
