So we signed a CB that isn't Djilobodji.. great, I guess? Actually I am happy with it, I liked him when he was here, but the money we sold him for was too much to refuse. A ball-playing defender who can also play in midfield, I'll take it. And 30M in this window is peanuts for a player (and marketing tool) like Luiz.

 

The main point is that we now have signed two defenders. At this point it doesn't really matter if they're 3rd or 4th choice, we were lacking in numbers badly and we patched it with not-the-worst (aka "Papy") options.

Thh I have tried to process the fact that Luiz returns since midday and still have no idea what to think of it from a footballing perspective. Hi he sure a hell will be great for the atmosphere in the dressing room and around the club.
