The Associated press has called the democratic nomination

Of course the celebrations start after the final primaries tomorrow, but its been a long time coming either way.

Time to crush Trump.

What a fitting end to the 'democratic' process when the primaries are called not on a day when actual people had voted but after surveying a group of anonymous establishment insiders. And that's on the 'democratic' side!

Will Trump vs Clinton be the worst choice of all time?

Now, now, let's not be so pessimistic, there's always a third choice: Suicide...

Don't worry mate, that's about as realistic as a child saying he can invade the moon

Almost literally the only thing that your media and the Iranian media seem to agree about is the 'might' of the Iranian state...mostly because it is almost completely made up.

It does suck, but beats the hell out of them putting up another McGovern and gifting the republicans a white house:lol:

Yeah Hillary the first female president for the US. As I don't think Trump stands a chance against her.

Pretty Amazing to see.

Even more Amazing is to see her in 1969

She literally was always going to be something big on this earth.

If there is one good thing to come out of this cycle it should be that the popular momentum gathered by Sanders in particular should be used to put pressure on the democratic party to scrap the ridiculous super-delegates system. And while they're at it they should definitely bin caucuses and closed primaries...

I don't see the super delegates leaving really.

Sanders supporters lost the popular vote both ways. Only difference now is that they will sit out if they don't want Hillary, and unless your name is Obama a candidate expects people under 25 or so not to vote for the most part honestly.

The big take away will be what happens to the republican party. They are dead thanks to Trump.

Of course they won't 'leave' they'll have to be forced out and everything that stops people from getting involved in the democratic process should be eliminated or else you can't call it a democracy.

Every single US presidential candidate for as long as I have followed politics (which is admittedly brief) has mobilized people only to halt that momentum the moment they win or drop out. That popular support and the organized masses are arguably more powerful than privileges of the president and certainly more likely to bring actual change. If anyone is going to break that 'rule' and try to utilize this support after the campaign is over it will probably be Sanders, imo.
