On a lighter political note, the new french prime minister is a dick! The french pronunciation of the ministers name is the same as the slang Lebanese word for "penis" that is largely understood to all arabic speakers. This has caused a huge embarrassment to all arabic media who are trying not to say or write the word. The French foreign ministry has even been forced to issue 'alternative pronunciations' of his name to avoid embarrassing Arab speakers.

I think Barack Obama is a war criminal and he should be executed (or whatever the maximum punishment is) for crimes against humanity. His policy with regards to predator drones is sickening, it's basically 'Every man within a 30 mile radius is a terrorist'. Estimates of civilian deaths in Pakistan and Afghanistan range between 900 and 7000, all from predator drones, which have only been used in the last 3 years or so.

Anyone else starting to worry about the "Thought Police?" anybody who strays from the centre ground be them left or right seems to be under increasing pressure in every aspect of their lives. People being arrested at work in connection with peaceful political demos and others arrested for comments on social networking sites. 1984 sooner than we think ?

I truly believe that free speech really is under threat. If the elite group of politicians object to the views of a certain group they can make their lives hell. EDL members being arrested at work in a attempt to destroy there careers or taking their children away in case they are "radicalized" is in my opinion completely wrong regardless of your opinions on the EDL.
