I think it's partly due to Hillsborough, tbf.

Yeah. which is a shame really. If done with proper precautions i.e as long as it's not high up in the stands, there's no problem with terraces

Someone else rooting for Porto today?

Real beat Barcelona before we drew them at Camp Nou to progress. Dortmund slashed Bayern before we beat them in Munich, so I think it is better for Benfica to lose their title today in a narrow defeat. And I hope many of their players pick up injuries or get tired.

Agree. I heard/also read that Aston Villa are trying to be the first English top flight (if not relegated) team to bring back Terraces.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2246758/Safe-standing-Aston-Villa-flight-club-endorse-standing-football.html

And also read that CFC fans support group have been trying and trying to get one at the bridge if Aston Villa due indeed get their own standing area and things all work out fine.

I hope it comes back to the EPL man, cuz watching football matches is 100x better when the fans are chantin from 1st to 90th min.

Wigan and Atletico's win has given me a huge believe that Bundeschoker might flop once again versus Dortmund. Would be hilarious to see Mario Gotze score in the winning goal in that game, or simply scores the final penalty kick and then celebrating like a c*nt in front of the Bayern crowd. Impossible is nothing.

Can someone tell me is there a chance that Arsenal can play against Milan to qualify for UCL group stages.

I really want that they miss the UCL this season after they spend 70 mil.

Unlikely as both have a pretty good coefficients and they are likely to be in 'seeded' pot for the play-off draw.

UEFA have announced that the 2015 Champions League final will be played in Berlin. Next season's final will be in Benfica's Estadio da Luz by the way.

Uefa also announced that the 2015 Champions League final would be in Berlin, with the Europa League final in Warsaw.

And also...

Uefa is set to award a place in the Champions League to the winners of the Europa League from the 2014-15 season, in order to make that competition more attractive, with an announcement expected on Friday.

Other plans under consideration include whether to award a fifth Champions League place to clubs in the big European leagues and to expand the number of Europa League places on offer.
