As the ball is played through Ronaldo's body shape is not straight onto goal. it's at an angle. Mignolet has to anticipate that Ronaldo is going to hit that at any given moment, so from moment one he has to be set. He takes two very small steps to his left, it only takes one movement to the left and he is in trouble, the second wipes him out completely, yet when the ball passes him he is only inches from making contact, that's the margins I'm afraid but I still think Mignolet should be at least doing better with that goal. communicate 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
