Couldn't they estimate the injury in training or warm-up? That wasted substitution could have been useful with Juanfran and some other players injured... Just let him play 10mins and then take him off, a tribute of sort so he can say he 'played' in the Final. I was fine with it, though yes it certainly did hirt them as the injuries mounted. Ray Wilkins has been critical of the club so many times i don't see a reason for him to lie. Congrats to Carlo, a wonderful person and gentleman deserves this night.
