I'd love to think like that but I can't, I am still a little worried about qualifying for the last 16!

Let's qualify first, after that we can start dreaming :D

So we have Ronaldo trying to score as much as possible to try to already clinch the golden boot. City losing the opportunity to finally top a group and get an easier match next round. And Manure failing to qualify even with PSV only drawing.

Does England lose a spot if United, Arsenal and Chelsea go out and juventus and Roma go through?

No, because Europa League doesnt give that much less points if you advance on it.

So, even if what you are proposing happens but Juve and Roma lose in the next round and lets say all three English teams manage to reach the semi-finals of Europa League, I think we would still retain 4 spots.
