A lot of people misinterpret RA's role at Chelsea. He has virtually no say in matters, of course as owner he has the final word, but all these media stories about him being at the training ground actually only reflect something he has regularly done, which is evaluate his investment. Gormless Gourlay and Bruce MegaBucks make the decisions, and they are the two fucking the club over.

No one really knows what input Abramovich has in transfers and managers. He has never spoken in public. But the buck stops with him literally, as he has the money and is the owner. Buck says he is a football fan first and foremost, but that doesnt make him an authority on who should come and go.

Abramovich and the board should remember they are 'custodians; of the club and the fans were there well before them and will be afterwards
