chelsea blue 615
Always liked RDM when he was playing for us i would give him a rolling contract and lets see what happens nothing to lose no paying out money to another club for compensation and the players like him . just hope we win something with him
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Rather poor coaching of Di Matteo yesterday I would say. First time he could really contribute after the red card. Since taking over he's done the obvious, except maybe for fielding a surprising starting 11 in Benfica for which he deserves credit. The older players now know what to expect and when they'll play but that's really a minimum one should expect of any coach at Chelsea. Di Matteo shouldn't stay on. Chelsea needs a bigger name and a more seasoned manager.Agreed
Tomo 21,751
A question to the members here wanting us to take a punt on Moyes, would you also consider Alan Curbishley if he made himself available? he did just as miracle of a job at Charlton even more so looking at were they are now. Not to mention he took over at West Ham and kept them up against all the odds.So if Moyes name is getting mentioned because of his work at Everton Alan's defiantly should be considering what he did for Charlton, just saying

OneMoSalah 8,886
Either give RDM the job or step up the chase and get the Dortmund manager. Seems a right enough character and he said said it is "cool" to be named along side Guardiola and Mourinho as potential bosses for us.Maybe a German coach would be excellent for us.. either the Dortmund manager or Joachim Low, imagine the talent Low could potentially attract: Gotze, Ozil, Hummels, Muller, Gomez, Draxler etc.

We're in a position like Le Arse were in last year, except we wont make top 4. Last year Le arse had a Miserable season, became a mediocre side and became unattrative to players, but in the space of a season they changed that. This is something we need to do, and with the right players bought in the summer we can do it for sure.

Eriksen, Gotze, Hazard, Ozil and the whole batch of exciting European youngsters will not come to Chelsea this summer. And even Jurgen Klopp will be mad to leave Dortmund(which is currently first in the Bundesliga) and join our madhouse. We'd rather look at bargains from Newcastle, Napoli and other quality teams that did not make CL
HRiver 1,512
Jurgen Klopp is a great manager, but if he was to leave Dortmund I'm pretty sure he'd go to Bayern.Bayern always takes the best players/managers from other German clubs.

Laylabelle 9,534
Grant replacing Jose still pains me in the back and the front of my mind... If your gona dump the best coach in the league, replace him with someone justifiable, not Grant. And ppl are underestimating Steve Clarke's contribution at the time.God had we kept Grant wouldnt be fighting for 5th be fighting to stay up!May have done well with us but seeing as on his own he went and took down 2 clubs...smart move in the end

As I write this the age-old "football-people in the Board" complaint if the first thing that comes to mind.As ever topics like this one are more important than the annual manager wishlists and any thread in the transfer forum. Ollie 4,400
Are there any managers that like to use 4-4-2? I'm actually quite sick to death of this 4-5-1/4-3-3 bollocks. We can't even use 4-3-3, we don't have the players for it. I want to see a very attack minded manager if we replace Robbie. I hate our slow build ups and lack of genuine chances created for the strikers. Our attack is so blunt and stagnated.

I'd be a hypocrite if I said that I wouldn't want the job, but I don't think there are the right conditions in place for that," Zola told the Gazzetta dello Sport."As a Chelsea fan I always want the team to be in the best possible hands, as they are right now with Roberto Di Matteo."http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1047727/gianfranco-zola-eyes-chelsea-job,-backs-roberto-di-matteo?cc=4716

Justin_3d 1,140
It would be awesome to have Zola in the club though. Some sort of assistance. Heck just get him as assistant manager if Chelsea gets a new manager in the summer. We need someone like him to be in the staff to help motivate our team! Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
Dong care who the manager is because we know they will have the attacking mentality that roman wants. All I fukin want is for him to be announced at seasons end, not in middle of July with valuable time lost. And also cuz I'm anxious to see what the starting XI will be next year. I'd prefer cappelo, but anybody who has experience will do and has maybe done an overhaul before.

We need a manager who has alot of past experience (no move AVB's) and one who has an attacking Philosophy. Our attack is now our biggest Problem, actually it's been sort of a problem for the whole year. The new Manager needs to go after the bigger targets (which is why it would help if it was a high profile manager) and wide players, as that's what we're lacking alot.
