kiaretta985 131
Can anybody give me a good reason why these players would want to get us into a competition that the vast majority of them will not be playing in next season ?trying to get us in the top 4 could be the last attempt to show the gaffer they're not old shoes, and they're still worth playing for us. I don't have a better answer, sorry
capriccioso 2,545
We can beat Arsenal. All we need to do is play Drogba and rely on him to produce his usual bullying of the Arsenal defence.

5354 204
Drogba just needs to be on fire. And we should just leave Torres out of the team. Honestly, I meant it.

Badboy 1,526
@Laura The vast majority of these players have no chance of staying here next season, we are going to have a massive clear out at the end of the season. The vast majority of these players will be looking for new clubs and they know it, I just don't see where the incentive will come from. Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham players have massive incentives to get in the top 4 not many of ours have an incentive.
Kezza 1,965
Meh..not worried at all. We'll make it.In regards to the older players, I think they'll try harder just to prove to everyone that they still have it and that we 'need' them to succeed. skeeo 37
Abit depressing that at this time of the season we are talking about 4th place and not whether we will win the league

nadavTKL 1,787
i just cant imagine Arsenal finishing 4th while we're in 5th. Both teams are shit this season, but it will be a huge shock for me.I 99% belive will make it. Arsenal will do the job for us more than we do i think... Krypt 241
Im not 100% confident about getting fourth , due to our form against some of the smaller sides in the league this season. we need RVP to get a nock so Arse loose a few. If we miss out , we miss out it might be the wake up call we need. As long as the bloody dippers dont get it , if they do i may give up on football... god they make my blood boil , the Carling cup is now a major tournament because they won it.... manpe 10,861
Our remaining fixture list isn't very tempting. I'm nervous we might struggle against Stoke, City, Spurs, Newcastle, Arsenal, Liverpool... and even Villa is a hard nut to crack (they are annoying to play against, they usually turn up against us). I would normally expect wins against the likes of Wigan, Fulham and Blackburn... but I'm not too confident at all even against them. Villa, Wigan, Fulham, QPR and Blackburn are our best chances to grab points.. we simply cannot afford to lose or even draw with them. A win against Arsenal will be essential if we are still close together by that time.Other than that I don't see many places where Arsenal can fuck up. Newcastle, City and we will be a match to them, but others they are expected to win. West Brom and Stoke will be able to surprise, especially at home.LET'S DO THIS! FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!! Kojo 4,676
Lmao!, it's amazing how many people have put 'yes', did you know we havent even played one hard game in the league this season in 2012... we have all our hard fixtures to come, and already it seems impossible to get there. It's not even being optimistic it's lying to yourself.
