What winning nothing and losing them to bigger and better things before they reach they peak? no thanks.

I mean playing them regularly in the shit cup games and seeing how far they get.

Yeah Arsenal have won nothing, but they hae developed some great players and cashed in quite a lot.

If we could use that model with our ability to win things - we would be unstoppable!

Sinclair, Borini, Stoch, Carlton Cole, Jack Cork.

Sinclair isn't Chelsea standard, Borini is currently flopping at Liverpool, Stoch p***ed off to Turkey where he's disappeared, Cork did well in the Championship but he (as well as Stoch and Borini) WANTED to leave, while Carlton Cole..come on.

Stoch has actually done quite well. Hes actually been quite a good player for Fenerbahce. Borini is a good player I'd have him back in an instance so I'm hoping he scores against us tbh (just so we can buy him back thats the whole joke). :Goober:

Not one of those players would be playing regularly, if at all, for Chelsea. None of them is remotely close to being a star. We have hundreds of youth players that come and go, we really have two choices.

1) Keep every single one until they are 35 which means having about 20 youth teams and spending millions of pounds on players who will never become anything.

2) Use our best judgement and let most of them move on. This means that inevitably, a few will develop into decent players.

I believe the question you put forward was what players that we've let go became stars elsewhere - hence that little list. If you ask me whether I think those players would be stars at Chelsea - no they wouldn't.
