Spike 12,049
Unfortunately I do not watch enough of Malaga, so got some questions..Firstly, is he good enough to get into their first team? Secondly, what formation do they tend to use?Do we really think this will be more beneficial then going on loan in England?I've only watched them a couple of times this season but I think Pellegrini uses the 4-2-3-1 with Joaquin, Isco and Bounotte (spelling?) playing in the three. Could open a spot in the starting lineup for Lucas...
Las7 951
It would depend, I don't think he will get much play time if he is unable to make an impact in his first few substitute appearances - on the other hand I think Piazon is far more suited to play regularly in La Liga than in the EPL. Just as Josh found out during his loan at Swansea, physical and defensive preparation are quite important for mid table teams in the Premiership. I guess whether the loan is successful would also depend on what other business Malaga does during the transfer window - they are in the Champions League and they will have to rotate their squad if they want to do well in the League and CL. Waterfall 893
I'm surprised that Malaga even want him. He's a talented player obviously, but getting such an inexperienced player on loan seems rather random for a club as good as Malaga. Maybe we are targeting Isco

Slam Dunk 1,442
Was expecting him to go on loan, not to Malaga though. Although it makes sense on their part, i'd have expected us to keep him in England. I'd be very impressed if he broke into the first team there and kept his place. Hutcho 8,443
May as well go on loan that sit on the bench... Not sure how much time he will get at malaga but he has got to have a better chance of game time there than with us atm.

We Hate Scouse 10,326
Never saw this one coming, what an interesting loan. Wonder if there's anything more to it...
bushman 2,043
An exciting loan for him. This time he can sit on Malaga麓s bench but in warmer climate though.
DDA 9,941
Interesting loan indeed. I was hoping that he would go on loan to West Brom, they seem to develop youth in a speedy and positive manner.
Kostas 1,468
Sounds like more than a half-decent loan, provided that he gets respectable gametime.Wonder who our link to Malaga was. If it's not Emenalo (I have my doubts) could it possibly have been Benitez?

Leif 6,006
What an odd move... this honestly surprises me more than when we signed Torres..I understand Malaga are facing financial troubles so loans are a good idea, but Piazon!? He's made 1 league appearance in his career so far! When did Malaga get the chance to scout him!? I'm thinking he may be put into their "B" team or reserves or however they do stuff over there, unless of course that would've been specifically stated if it was the case.Malaga are probably the 3rd best team in La Liga (takeaway Falcao and there's no way Atletico are 3rd best), so this is just.. yeah. Hope it works out.
