You can say this a thousand times more, doesn't make it anymore true. In any of his City games, KDB was one the players with the highest workrate and distance run. In the West Ham-game he ran the most miles of every players, including the opposition players. City-fans are impressed with his workrate, especially when playing as a number 10.

You can't fault KDB for workrate.

Workrate is good going forward.

However, as a belgian you probably seen him more than I. He is a complete liability defensively and has no tactical sense.

Also, the whole distance run/miles run stat is complete decieving stat and not relevant to workrate... Guys like Cesc is usually high up there on that stat as well and we know what BS that is.

You're talking about defensive ability, Kellzfresh was talking about workrate. Imo the distance a player covered in a game is a pretty good criteria for a player's workrate.

Still, KDB isn't the same player as he was 2 years ago. When he was at Chelsea he was young and still adapting to the PL. At the moment I wouldn't say he's more of a defensive liability then other attacking midfielders in the PL. His tactical awareness is pretty good, offensive and defensive.

His biggest defensive flaw is that sometimes he takes risks in positions he shoudn't, as demonstrated against Tottenham. But other then that, his workrate is top noch and he's won quite a few balls at City. He'll never be a defensive genius, but that's not necessary in his position.

I've just got the feeling that some people here keep the "workrate and defensive liability"-story alive, only to justify Mourinho's decision of letting him go. Watch some more games of KDB at City and the Belgian NT and you'll see that most of the time he's one the hardest working players on the pitch.

Didn't watch the last +10 mins of the match, however, I still am inclined to believe that KDB cannot work effectively with David Silva.

This idea that silva-sterling-kdb-yaya was going to break every team is proving more and more to be wrong and someone will need to be dropped to give balance to the squad... Losing to a team like gladbach who has been terrible this season really would of been bad for City's confidence...

Xhaha is a good player we should look at next summer as a cm.

A goal and 2 assists laughingsmiley001.gif Let's see what you say now. You love to come after every game and slate him when you think he was poor even he was not.I bet you go hiding now. And to Oscar I think the stats prediction you made is really going to come back to haunt you.

And pre-assist for the second goal. Much better playing on the left then on the right.

Well you don't come in looking to slate him when it suits you which is why I did not look to quote your posts for a scoring effect. You say it how you see it and I respect that even if I disagree. On the otherhand, Pacquaio just slates KDB for the sake of it and I guarantee you he will come up with some other excuse for him today. I don't mind criticism but when people give clear biased views it annoys me.

He looks better than Hazard to me.

I don't know if its the system, players he's around, or what but he just looks the better player.

He isn't better Hazard. He's miles better than Oscar, though.
