Beigl 1,387
I like kdb but it depends how marin and moses do ...it might be hard for him to get starts next year ... seems strange when you think how shortwe have been for right wingers in the last few yearsThe best thing about him is,that he is very versatile. He can play on either wings or give the playmaker and even in central midfield. If he improves in Germany and work hard in training he could one day play regulary at Chelsea,Kevin has the ability to do that i think. Kojo 4,676
The reason why i know he will make it, is because he seems to have this great flair. Great shot on him, great passing, crossing and all sorts, i don't care if it's the belgium league, an 18-19 year old doing that shit in the league is just crazy. In pre season you could tell he was class, he just overhit things but he picked them out to begin with, he will make it, just like Lukaku will. KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Could be four if you include Josh and Hutch I just can't get my head around how brilliant our depth will be if they (Josh and KDB) develop into very good players. We could be the club version of Spain when it comes to CM/AM/Wingers.
Peppi85 110
KDB is playing vs. Bayern Munchen at the moment.Had a decent first half in a rather boring game...
SykikJV 146
In a 4-3-3, sure but not in the double pivot where you need to be preferably physical and need to defend.Check your information. De Bruyne played CM in a flat 4-4-2 for Genk. He was part of a central midfield duo with Khaleem Hyland (ex-Portsmouth and impressing this season) behind two strikers, Vossen and Benteke. He really excelled in that position, both defensive and attacking. At the moment it's possible he isn't ready for that position in the Premier League, but in the future I think his best position will be the position that Modric played in at Tottenham and Croatia. ja1 1,166
He reminds me of Toni Kroos abit, except faster and more tenacious, and more flair. He started out as an attacking mid but as far as I know has settled very well in a deeper role for club and country, though he still plays in his original position a lot as well. It's probably likely that's what de Bruyne, and sadly Oscar, will so for us.

ja1 1,166
He has just scored again Bremen, with a 40 yard free-kick. Before you get really excited, it was more like the Mata free-kick against Arsenal apparently in that it just sort of went past everyone, but still, that's 3 goals and 2 assists in 7 games...easily been our best loanee so far this season, and we've had good loans thus far. zolayes, underdrog and Stingray
Jase 43,479
Can see the goal here. Might want to catch it fast if you can before it might get possibly take down.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpwv-xTOWEgQuite similar to Mata's one on Saturday, as pointed out. The ball took a bounce near the goal which kinda fooled the keeper. nachikethas, Sheva. and DONI.

ja1 1,166
Worth taking note he took that free kick with his left foot, all 3 goals he's scored for Bremen have been with his left. Two-footed :-)

Jack Uzzi 54
Big interview in the Belgian newspaper 'het nieuwsblad' confirming what I thought already (his stay at Werder is not entirely to his liking). Here's what he's saying.- De Bruyne misses the warmth he experienced at Genk (known as a "family club" in Belgium) and he would never want to live in Germany after his career. German mentality is rather rigid, more serious. He is a relaxed person, who likes a laugh. Also, training sessions are very tactical. The stop the play for every detail whereas he likes to play on his intuition without too much guidelines. Football is a job in Germany, but for him it's fun in the first place. No problem however, he continues to do his thing and it still pays off. He lives with his girlfriend inside the city but they never go out and every free day the go back to Belgium (three hours ride).- In terms of medical and individual accompaniment he does not see a difference with Genk. At the contrary actually which makes Werder a bit 'un-german'.- On the football side things are excellent for him however. But he says it doesn't really matter whether he is important. As a team Werder should do better. In the defense they lack experience, he thinks, and they will have to fight hard to finish 5th, their goal at the beginning of the season.- They started the season in an offensive 4-3-3 but after some disappointing results they changed and now sit much deeper. Wings Arnautovic en Elia are expected to assist midfield and defense. De Bruyne thinks they should play more from their own strength.- He has not talked to manager Allofs or coach Schaaf although he thinks the coach is okay. It's just because Schaaf hasn't come to him and he hasn't gone to him.- He thinks it's a pity Werder does not play Europa league but the level of the Bundesliga is of course much higher than the Belgian league. So he's happy with that.- Chelsea has made it clear he will return after the end of the season, but maybe loaned again. Last week, Kevin Campello (welfare officer) visited him. He arranges everything and wants to know anything (training sessions, food regime, etc.)- He says it was a done deal for him to go on loan before he arrived at Chelsea. It's only afterwards that people said he was going on loan because he is not good enough for Chelsea.- He wants to play football in England. And try to break into the Chelsea team. He believes it is possible. He has the self-confidence to make it come true.- Journalist aks if he has matured in Germany. He answers he's been mature for two years already. Peppen and Amblève.
