CHOULO19 24,332
yossi had a great preseason then loaned to arseThat was different because Yossi is old and didn't fit in AVB's 4-3-3.
GhanaBoy 104
people talk about loans and such but lets remember KDB has over 100 appearances in the belgium league ( I know its an inferior league.. plus Lukaku came from there, but KDB does not rely on physical attributes rather he is technically superior and his all arouind game is exceptional), and not as a fringe player but the key to their success therefore the pressure and maturity is there. But were could he play, well this past season and in his interviews he indicates he prefers to play in the middle ( cm/ cam) were he is at his best, and vision, passing, setplays , and ability to dictate a game are just..awww and aguably the best player in Belgium. He has also bulked up, and if giving a proper chance would displace Lampard in the double pivot as the season winds down. I am telling you guys this kid will be special.. i have not seen a kid his age so complete as a footballer. So my starting line up would be : Back 5/ Mikel-KDB/Hazard-Oscar-Mata/ Torres. daBlackMamba7 and mediator
BlueLyon 9,359
First Belgian league is much less competitive than Brazil, Portuguese, Turkish or Russian. Even Holland has better clubs in their league. Belgian is something like Championship in England. Jumps from that league to Premier League is giant. Even Lukaku who was best striker and probably player in Belgium, was completely lost here. Missing clear chances is another problem of too big presure. Witsel did great work when he moved to Benfica, get regular play time and impress even in CL. For KDB, this will be massive change, I hope he does well. Personaly I think if he has that talent, should slowly play well here and become good. He is old enough and will have good support. But sometimes move to some smaller but still big club in big league like Werder, would work even better. Even better if Lukaku goes there too; both will play together, they know each other and sure most important is if they are in first plan for coach. He will play them first five games and if they do it well, their progress will evolve during season with constant play time. If they play bad, Im sure no coach in no club at that level would still play them, after all they just arrived there on loan. And sure, if they play bad, they wont impress here either. Kdb should stay, he is old enough and as I said if he has that talent in himself, he will impress sooner or later.
Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
yea he needs to stay here and grow. lets all assume oscar stays, not hulk, just oscar becuse last time i checked they were different people! mikel-lamps/// hazard-mata-oscar///torres is a nice starting eleven, maybe too offensive but can be used against some big teams as measuring stick but especially against the bottom teams where we simply couldnt unlock. wba, aston villa, everton, just a few of teams where physicality wasnt the answer.then we have likes of: cahil, bertrand, new rb, rambo, kdb, marin and mierles on bench. look alright to me, a new rw of the krasic/walcot type is ok for they would be on bench and provide competition. although i would prefer a smaller squad everyone playing than big squad and everyone clamoring for games. BleedsBlue 1,549
Well if you ask me,the Oscar signing is just unnecessary at the moment. In my opinion KDB is the better option and therefore should not be loaned. Amblève. and royg
TorontoChelsea 4,064
http://www.express.co.uk/football/view/332648/Chelsea-set-to-loan-Kevin-De-Bruyne-and-Romelu-Lukaku-to-Werder-BremenThey have KDB and Lukaku going on loan to Werder Bremen. Not sure if this is true, but it does seem very likely that both players will go out on loan. Bremen would be a good place for them if they get playing time although I don't really care much where they go as long as A) it's a decent quality They get to play regularly. Slam Dunk 1,442
It will come as bad news for West Ham who were hoping to buy up Lukaku for a good price. Yeah, right.
Waterfall 893
Looked decent with his movement and little touches. Just couldn't get his long shots/passes off (probably because of the pitch)

CHOULO19 24,332
He did well yesterday, his movement was good, but he was maybe trying too hard. Unlucky not to score on more than one occasion. royg and Hutcho
