It was the homecoming he'd probably been dreaming about for years.

He left us, and England as a flop viewed by the world. He's returned a king, and proved it today. You could see it when Lukaku scored against us too. He got super emotional. These guys have a fire in them because of Mourinho, and they hate him(US by extension). That is what makes De Bruyne Great, and why Lukaku will be one day. The desire.

You don't see it in Hazard. He seems very content in life. Almost like a joker laid back character. Like he knows he is great. De Bruyne wants to show you he is.

And sometimes that Desire can be misinterpreted as weaknesses by fools. How many times did we hear or read that Lukaku and Kdb did not want to fight for their places. HOGWASH!!!

I think he should only be proving Mourinho wrong. Maybe in the next Manchester derby!

Going to be an absolute monster for Pep.

His ceiling could end up being higher than Hazards.

we've been saying since he was playing for Genk that he's better than Hazard. he really, really, really is, by far better than Hazard. by far.

He looks like proper Lamps replacemen. Can score, assist, move well.

Such a all round player with high efficiency.

But yeah we had to fuck all up.

Lampard, Beckham and Silva in one player. He has the outstanding qualities of all of them. He crosses as well as Becks, could easily get 20 goals a season from midfield like Lampard, and already is showing he's got the vision, creativity and technique of Silva. Lavish praise, but I say that's a realistic assessment. If i wanted to exaggerate i'd compare him to Iniesta instead of Silva but he lacks the wisdom & close control of the former.

What other player is capable of the 20+ goals and 20+ assists we're going to see every season? Messi?
