Ollie 4,400
This performance will make his Chelsea career, i'm so pleased for him, he must be feeling over the moon. He's just beat Barcelona ffs he's settled into the team and helped form that defence that was so good for so long. Unbelievable performance. termninja 5,290
I actually think he'll do quite well here.As for wages I don't know what really happened and therefore I will not base my judgement on him for that.I can't wait to see the iron defense of Ivanovic---Cahill--Terry---Cole get a run.Good luck Gary and welcome! :cfc: and it appears that the iron defense has kept a clean sheet against Barcelona He was really brilliant. HRiver 1,512
Excellent performance. For a player who has never played in a game of such high importance, plus considering the opponent, that's just impressive.
CHOULO19 24,332
He got more and more into the game as it went on and managed to frustrate Messi every single time, amazing!
Jase 43,479
He certainly played very very well tonight and credit to the lad but he got a little bit of stick on Twitter in the first half.

Jase 43,479
For what?Think it was because he struggled early on with Iniesta, Fabregas's run and 1-2 occasions where he backed too much and turned to his back when Barca got a shot away. LDN Blue 7,903
There's nothing more I could add to the reactions here, but I was amazed by his composure when he had Lionel Messi running at him. Amazing not to slip up in concentration and concede a penalty or let him skin him.. Nope, just a solid no nonsense game. Well done to the lad, proving to be a wonderful addition to this squad. OneMoSalah 8,886
What a performance by Cahill and JT tonight.I doubted this lad when he first signed for us but he has put a string of top quality performances in recently and I am absolutely delighted for him supposing he had a really bad game vs Napoli in Italy, hopefully more of this impressive games to come and you never know..... he could be a future Chelsea legend. RollingPapers 194
Good game from him! Saved us a couple of times. He is still young for a defender, he will only get better
James 5,324
Looks like we have the perfect replacement for JT when he eventually retires. Cahill looks so similar the way he goes about his game, he can only get better learning and playing along side him.
Bir_CFC 3,455
What amazes me the most about him is how fast he recovers. I can remember thinking 10 times that oh he's beat, just to see him somehow recover and make the tackle. What a bargain.
Kieran. 6,317
Gary Cahill: Bolton defender in January to being Chelsea's MotM against FC Barcelona. LDN Blue, Spike, capriccioso and 1 other
Spike 12,049
Jackson Pollocks, he is a good and proper English CB that's for true Governor. He is as fast as a lorry and gets stuck in there like a lad......sorry. capriccioso
capriccioso 2,545
Well done to our scouts, we've signed a good player for a fair price. I'm surprised he didn't attract attention from other clubs, he's been great for us. Alex hasn't been missed (though those thunderbolt free kicks certainly have). KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Cahill was a great buy. All those Idiot fans from other teams were laughing at us, thinking we just bought a Shit defender. Well he's truned out great, he is an almost younger version of JT. Who's laughing now? BlueLion. and capriccioso
coolhead23 1,147
Cahill for his price tag was a steal for a backup CB any day, Arsenal are actually stupid to let that opportunity go away. However Cahill has really stood up with every passing game and is now good enough to play in the first 11. We really got a good deal on this one.
