what corner glitch???

Set your best header to 'attack near post' for all corners. Set 2 guys to 'stay back', one at the 'edge of the area' and one 'lurking outside the area', everyone else to 'challenge keeper'. Set corners to 'aim at near post', and watch the goals fly in, of my 111 PL goals about 35 have come from corners.

No need to thank me :P

I am facing Real Madrid in the semi finals. I beat Barcelona 8-1 on aggregate, won the return leg 3-1 which was bizarrely described by the media as a 'Rearguard action provides famous Chelsea victory'. To be fair to that result, they fell apart after Busquets got sent off; it would have at best been a 3-1 or a 2-0 win, and the second leg was a result of the computer thinking it had a chance and going all out attack for 90 minutes, resulting in 3 easy counter attacks.

The opposition tends to open things up in the second leg if they are beaten in the first. It's fun. Get to smash them to bits! :P

Good luck against Madrid. I hate playing them in FM11. Always a tight game against them and think I've lost more than winning against Mourinho!

The PL table is looking a right laugh, I'm on 86 points, 14 ahead of Arsenal and Man United. 111 goals scored with 7 games still to be played :D. League Cup is already in the bag, and I'm in the FA Cup Semi Final. Quadruple on the way B). Best of all, Salomon Kalou has 13 goals and 17 assists in 29 starts and 6 appearances off the bench.

All I've brought in are Mario Gotze and a couple of brilliant regens (Cahill was edited into the team beforehand). I sold Sturridge and Malouda, and I agreed an end-of-season deal with Arsenal for Bosingwa. Apart from that the squad is quite similar to what it is in real life.

Bah. Title secured then!

And oh, what formation do you play? Curious.

You can't set everyone else to challenge keeper, only one can challenge keeper cap.

You don't use the set piece creator, you set them all to challenge keeper through the player instructions panel.

4-2-3-1 Di Matteo style against the big teams, otherwise I use 4-2-2-2 'Il Devasto', which is available for download from FM Scout or something, top tactic,

Alright guys, I'll admit I cheated. I've fucked Liverpools finances (temporarily) to get them to lose 9 points and hopefully get relegated. I did this when BM suggested it .

Anyway, here's the player stats for the season so far, sorted by minutes on the pitch. Rest assured, Kalou is only so low down that list because of the AFCON and a 3 week injury, else he'd be right at the top.

Check out the updated post ^^

And yeah, 4-2-3-1 is my tactic, and it is my standard, actually. Strange, I always thought I used Il Devasto more, but Di Matteo tells me I have played my take on his 4-2-3-1 for 3214 minutes and Il Devasto 1500 minutes.

And here is the league table:

I'm speechless. Lost for words. What a game, what a game, what an FA Cup Final it was.

11 goals, including an incredible spell of 5 in 7 minutes. 7 different goalscorers. 4 goals for Didier Drogba on the turf of Wembley. Incredible stuff, I've never played through such an enjoyable match on FM before.

And the quadruple rests in Chelsea hands after a 3-0 victory over Manchester United at the Allianz Arena. One player scored all 3 goals, though the second was not counted as his as it took a deflection off a defender.

Care to guess who it was?

Clue: He comes from the Ivory Coast

Clue 2: He doesn't do coke like Mutu

Clue 3: He crossed the ball from the left, it landed right on... Evra's chest.

Got it yet? :D

It could only be him. No one else. Salomon . And here is his opener, what a cracker that was, jinked past Evra and hit a powerful left footed shot from well outside the area :D

Oh yeah, and here's some icing on the cake:

Despite Salomon's single-handedly winning the Champions League heroics, and 4 trophies out of a possible 4, I am a little disappointed. The jammy bastards, Liverpool, managed to avoid relegation on the final day :(. They were ahead of QPR by just 3 points on the last day but managed to scramble a win while QPR lost 5-0 against a 2nd string line up I sent out. I even tried playing Torres in goal in the hope that they could win, but I still won 5-0 .

Cap, that is just so gay from Kalou!

Funnily enough though, the last game I played in my Chelsea save was in the Champions League final, also against Man United where I too won 3-0 BUT Mata was able to score a hat-trick and not a brace and an own goal like your friend there. :P
