I would assume when he say Chelsea didnt renew his contract he meant a new 1 year contract with the same wage etc. My guess is that cfc offered him a contract with reduced wage which he declined.

Very different from Rio joining QPR for example, or Ash rejecting Liverpool and moving to italy out of respect.

Just had a look on City's website at his bio, they mainly focus on him being an 'England player'.. using the pic of him in an england shirt etc.

I'd imagine the marketing men at NYC are going to use this to describe him as 'Former Manchester City player, Frank Lampard'. It chips away at their brand to even use the word 'Chelsea'. Millions of american kids getting into soccer will know Lampard as 'The Former Man-City player'.

Absolutely. What Term-X is referring to is that Man City are our DIRECT rivals. They are competing against us for four titles, including the Premier League, CL, FA Cup and Capital One Cup. To draw such parallels to an overseas team like Roma makes no sense at all. And yes, I purposely ignored your point about QPR because I have nothing to say to that..

Frank himself has to acknowledge that this is weird. It looks weird, it feels weird and I am eager to hear what he says about that City situation and why he even signed for the fuckin Sheikh and his City group when his carreer ends. I hope those 6 month will be over fast.

I agree that there are some extreme views obviously, never denied that. My point was however that those were in the minority, and that it's unfair to make a generalisation that basically insinuates that everyone that's disappointed and not happy about the move called him Judas, when that's far from the truth. As you've said, there are many well thought, rational opinions on here and it's unfair to label them like that.

If only we knew the whole story.....We only see what they want us to see. I reserve my judgment until I know all the details of what happened. All I know is he is gone now and he is a Legend.
