Frank Lampard

Poor guy, he's going to train with City for 6 months while waiting for NYCFC to get a squad ready for the next season and might play in a few games, most likely going to be mostly CL games and we have "fans" insulting him and his legacy on the internet. Lampard is one of our best ever players and now that he's old, Chelsea got rid of him and he was free to go to 'murica where it turns out the club he plays for can easily send him over to Man City or Melbourne City, assuming that will be easier for all parties involved. Stop crying...

WTF, lmao. COMPLETELY different scenarios. He wasn't a Chelsea legend or symbol of the club then, just a kid who needed game time. He's Frank Lampard now, someone who's identity is intertwined with Chelsea, and the fans feel strongly about.

So he's supposed to sit at home until he's required by New York, get real, he's total professional who wants to be ready in all respects for when he is needed by his club. He doesn't owe the fans anything else . He's already given...by the netful.

I wouldn't really want him in our squad as he is right now anyway. I smell an attempt at sabotage here.

What? Did he suddenly become a bad player? Is he taking illegal stimulants, How is he now is he incapable of playing to a high standard? As for sabotage, Jesuschristonabicycle!

His last kick in the Champions League and Premier League is going to in a Manchester City shirt. That's disgusting to even think about.

Oh for gods sake man give it a rest. Like Drogba, his reputation with us and what he did will never be tarnished no matter what.

Memories forever legacy just as long.

Drogba didnt go to Man City. I have no problem with him playing in the MLS, but playing for City.....thats terrible and disrespectful to all the fans.

Nothing bad can ever happen to Chelsea in some peoples eyes, they'll find some way to justify it.

Some people just aren't looking to be outraged at every turn.

I guarantee no-one heard the news and was happy, but actually spend some time thinking about it and it's hard to get that upset about. It makes sense for him, it makes sense for his club(s).

Put it like this - you seem to be making the most noise about this, but you're also the person who got their knickers in a twist over our training kit being the same colour as City's home kit. It's probably fair to say that you aren't representative of most our our support, with all due respect.

Look I'm not blinkered to some of the things that have happened at Chelsea, Christ over the period I've supported them there have been a few, but don't please don't put our defence of Lampard down as " my country right or wrong", we're just pointing out that Frank is entitled to do as he wishes in the furtherence of his career and that, in no way should denigrate all that he stands for at Chelsea. Come on let it go,....it's only City for Christ sake it's not Barcalona.

More people have been disgusted by this than not, so yes.. in this case I represent the majority of Chelsea fans.

I'm quite prepared to call bollocks on that one. But first I'm going to laugh...and laugh.

Disgusted....for fucks sake man, pull yourself together. There are some Scousers who would look at your reaction to this and say 'Christ, he's going a bit overboard'.
